Didn't have hot water for entire stay and this is completely unacceptable. The front desk personnel weren't helpful and we were only told "maintenance is working it." Looking at other current reviews, this seems to be an ongoing issue that we could have been warned about. This is a shame as the hotel service staff (waiters, entertainers, etc.) were exceptional. They really went all out to take care of you. In addition, the property is conventionally located in Playa. Our only other caution is that there really isn't a beach at the property, only a very small patch of sand. I wouldn't book a stay here until they address the hot water issues.

For this hotel to be an adult only there should be more adult life. The bar should not close at 11pm with a 10:30 10:45 last call depending the bartender. It should stay open to at less 1am.

I went back and forth a lot of where me and my mother should stay in Playa del Carmen! I heard great reviews about the location and staff and this resort did not disappoint!!! We were greeted with welcome drink and received an amazing upgraded which we decided to upgrade even further and received what was definitely the best view at the resort! Food was great for an all inclusive and the location is perfect to explore play del Carmen. They do have a beach but it’s small and you can’t really swim in the water but you can definitely dip in. If you on the fence about booking because of the beach just know that their are plenty of public beaches around!

The staff welcomed me with an ice cold drink in a glass flute. Concierge was very nice and helped me check in and book a massage. My massage was with Julia and she had great pressure. I was solo traveling for a few days and I felt very safe and secure at all times. If you wanted to explore, it was a quick 3-5min walk to the main touristy streets. The onsite restaurants are great and the service at the pool was attentive.

Property: absolutely gorgeous, love the feel of the resort and the pool Staff: incredibly attentive and helpful, the power went out during our stay and they immediately found us a room with power and upgraded us for free Food: pretty decent resort food! But if you want to, there are several other restaurants within walking distance Beach: Rocky! So rocky and painful to walk on!!!!!! We spent most of our time at the pool because the private beach was very rocky and uncomfortable There is a $10 USD room service charge every time you order so be careful that is not included Pros: staff and service, food, pool Cons: beach

Me and my partner really enjoyed the staff. I think they made the difference in our stay feel different from any other place. I have been to all inclusive resorts in St. Lucia and Punta. We came to Playa Del Carmen with my first opportunity to walk off a resort and go into town. These were MY opinions. PROS: This was a smaller resort. There was no grand entry or big stage entertainment but we were pleasantly surprised by less chaos and there was still entertainment. Lounge chairs were always available for the pool areas. The room and building were clean, up-to-date and impressive. Our room was an oceanfront with a hammock which was relaxing. We loved the food in the buffet as we felt it was more authentic than other resorts we had been too. The steakhouse was our second favorite. We walked 5th Avenue a couple nights and also walked to the ferry to snorkel in Cozumel. I suggest doing it on your own and not through an excursion on the resort. We did both and while Cozumel was sketchy at first as we picked the first counter off the ferry, it was cheaper, authentic and they took pictures for $60 vs. $120. Plus the snorkeling is the best in Cozumel. CONS: Did not like the Mexican restaurant. ALL drinks are made out of a drink mix which was so disappointing given the abundance of fruit available. My favorite drink is a pina colada and I was so disappointed to not have fresh pineapple juice and coconut cream mixes. My husband likes strawberry mojitos which only had strawberry syrup--no fresh strawberries. Summer seems to be sea weed season. Pool beds need to be rented.

This resort was a pleasant surprise. From the moment we walked in everyone was so nice and accomodating. The food at the Italian restaurant and Buffet was our favorite and The bartenders made the best drinks! The foam party is the BEST I've been to in Cancun/Playa area. Entertainment staff was amazing and the night shows were fantastic! This is now our go to resort when visiting!
