Beautiful property but very poor quality food
Let me start by saying the property is beautiful. Food was poor for overall from the buffet to the reservation restaurants. The sushi was the absolute worst I have ever had. The sushi chef should actually never be allowed to make sushi. All the restaurants require reservations and you have to book them at least 2-3 days in advance or you can’t get in. These restaurants have very limited choices and really poor quality food all around. Bars are ok but never enough staff so the lines to get a drink remain longer at almost all times. I paid for platinum which was supposed to give me premium alcohol. Most bar tenders either didn’t really like to give out the premium or they seem to always be out. Of the 7 days we spent, even the platinum bar at the beach was out of premium tequila 5 of those days. Again, the property we thought was really nice but the overall experience was not that great, from very poor food, lack of premium alcohol, lack of staff at the bars among other things make the total experience lacking. Not recommended and we will not be returning

This property is great, the area is clean and the staff are very friendly. The only complaint was scheduling a reservation for dinner in the restaurants was very difficult because they were booked fast.

I have no complain about this resort. I had a really nice time. The property is really nice, the pools are endless and well maintained. The animals habitats was a different touch to the regular hotels setting. It is a big property, so walking would be something to keep in mind even tho they have shuttle that goes around every 10 to 15 min give or take. I would definitely recommend this resort and i would definitely come back again!

Older Hotel but great service and beach.
Older All Inclusive Hotel that has great service which had the best beach in the area. The hotel was very clean and organized. The service was excellent. The food was ok for buffet style. The tacos and burgers at the pool side were excellent. The restaurants were ok except for the steak house which was the best.

Take full advantage of all the free activities - kayaking, tennis, pickleball, yoga etc. Equipment is older so expect that. This is our second time at Grand Princess Riviera. The facility is starting to show its age and the food definitely is not as good as previous year. Food not up to North American standards so be aware of that. The staff are wonderful. Even though it’s an all inclusive, a monetary tip goes a long way. Know what to expect before you go and adjust accordingly.
