I've been to this property at least 4 times. The property is spotless, you feel that this resort has just opened up. There is something to do for all types of individuals. There are several pools, as well there are swimup rooms. There is a beautiful Gym, there is a whole section dedicated to children, Tennis courts and so many more activates and things to do to list. The beach is also nice. The sea is not the greatest since the first couple of steps you take there is sea weed, but apparently this is an issue in all of Riviera Maya. Buffets we're OK, they cam add more proteins. As well, I was expecting a lobster night but it never happened. There are several specialty restaurants that you need to reserve for and its based on availability. La Fleur is by far the best restaurant, La Vaqueria steakhouse was also very good. Mama Mia Italian restaurant was OK. MISO wasn't good, La Fondue restaurant was by far the worst one of them all. We were is a regular sweet and it was beautiful and massive. Special thanks to Carlos one of the concierge managers. He's very helpful.

My wife and I are not big drinkers, but the bartenders across the property were fantastic. The individual rooms were quite clean, despite our shower drain making the bathroom smell like sewage. We tried three different dinner restaurants and all of the different buffets for breakfast and lunch. The food is poor. My take is that they had so many different food options that they were trying to offer something for everyone. The result was everything was poor quality. We also booked a tour to snorkel in Akumal Bay with a company unaffiliated with the hotel. The security staff were so unprofessional that they wouldn't even allow the tour guide to pick us up at the front door or allow him on the property to return us to the front door. They made us walk to and from front gate from the lobby, which on a property as large as this is a decent walk. When I notified management that I found the hotel's conduct toward our tour guide unprofessional and unacceptable, they apologized and said they would follow-up. They never followed-up.

Food was Ok but not enough variety. In the room, no welcome gifts, no special drinks offered at arrival, as we were checking in instead of informing us about the available amenities we are bombarded with upscale attempts from the staff who was registering us plus later on about staff that was selling other services within the hotel. First morning no towels for the beach and no chairs available by the beach. In the beach too many sales going on : photographers, clothes, beach entertainment etc...We were looking for adult relaxing time. We won’t return to this property

Beautiful hotel, terrible staffing. From the moment we arrived and tried to check in the staff was rude, made us wait for our rooms longer than expected. Whenever you tried to ask them a question they reacted “bothered/annoyed”. My niece phone was stolen from the hotel room day 2, terrible room investigation. My sister in law checked out a day early, and had to returned back to the hotel and upon arrival they made her wait at the front gate for 1-1/2 hours (not even at the main lobby) the gate under the sun, in the heat with no chair or water. They told her our room had been reassigned and they couldn’t find our reservation but we were all still checked into the hotel with the same room. Checking out they gave us again the same rude response.
