Great home base for a graduation

We had a wonderful stay in Tuckahoe while visiting for graduation at Sarah Lawrence College. We found everything that we needed. The host was very responsive with questions and was even able to accommodate our early arrival! It was an easy walk to get to delicious meal options and to the train station into the city. Street parking was easy to manage, and even the stairs to get to the house (and upstairs once inside) weren't an issue. We had a great visit and were grateful for the hospitality!

Quiet and spacious

The drive way is very steep, it was not practical to park all the way in the drive. Finding parking was not a problem, there was plenty of spaces on the opposite side of the street. The whole house was very clean, warm, and spacious. We had 4 adults and 3 minors staying with us. The location was perfect, in range of delivery and a short drive to the Bronx and Queens. It was great to sit down and eat at a table with everyone after a long drive from Maine. There was plenty of dishes and silverware for everyone, and the Britta water filter was a must have! The rules of the house were easy to follow, if needed, I would book this property again without question!

Family friendly

Irene was amazing, we were kept in the loop about everything, Irene reached out a few times prior to our arrival. The house was very clean and spacious, plenty of room for our family’s and friend, house was well supplied with all our needs. Irene checked on us before we arrived and also checked to see if we needed anything extra for our stay. We were also giving special instructions on locating extra items ( air mattresses, toilet paper, linen and etc. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks for an amazing stay.

A little overpriced

The outside of the property needs some upgrading. It was hard to get in the door upon arrival. The parking in the driveway is super steep and scary. Only two tvs in the entire house, none were located in the bedrooms. No outlets in bathroom, i couldnt plug a flat iron in blow dryer. No wash rags, no extra blankets, broken washer and dryer. They told us the day i checked in that the dishwasher was broken and so was washing machine. Doors were locked in other parts of the house which made me feel like someone was inside the house while we were there. Not enough cooking supplies and they were scratched up. For the amount of money i paid to book this place was not even worth it. The backdoor needs better securing. Ac system and shower was the best thing about this place.

Comfortable and spacious

Comfortable stay with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy different things. Nice location within walking distance to train and several restaurants. Very steep driveway was a bit of a challenge. Hosts were very responsive to our needs.
