The thermostat was set for 80 degrees but the room temp. was obviously below. The room was simply cold. But I guess if the thermostat says 80 degrees then it must be 80, right? The remote didn’t work but it was resolved. The WiFi didn’t work so I called the number suggested: either it was busy or no answer. I went down to the front desk to get the problem resolved. The shampoo dispenser didn’t work so (again) I had to go to the front desk to get the problem resolved. This was a better hotel the last time I stayed there. Not too 8mpressive this time.

The hotel is elegant and clean but my experience with the customer service at check in was not pleasing. The reps had attitudes even in the gift shop. The only rep that had a friendly personality was the lady when I was checking out. If everyone would have been pleasant and friendly like her, I would give this Hotel five stars but I just can’t. I will not be staying at this hotel if I ever go back to visit New York.

The hotel staff were very courteous, attentive and helpful. Our hotel room was clean and comfortable. The hotel lobby was nicely decorated for the Christmas holiday and the parking garage was easily accessible. We stayed in a 2-queen bed room equipped with a mini refrigerator but no microwave. A microwave was available in the snack rooms on the 2nd & 3rd floors but it really did not phase our stay at all. We will be returning to NYC soon and will definitely be staying here again!

Wonderful experience. The hotel is close to the bus stop which takes you right to the train station where u can catch trains an transfer to almost anywhere in New York

Staff provided pleasant, helpful service. Hotel has essentially one restaurant - one for breakfast and one for dinner with a bar. Other than neighboring hotels, there are not any other eateries within walking distance. Close to airport but nothing else. Shuttle service was good although you must be watching at the door as they do not enter to announce they are present.

Although this hotel was very close to the airport, it still takes about 15 min to get there with traffic. Shuttles are unreliable and crowded. Room was fine but smelled very stale. One thing they cant change but i wished was different was that you have to walk across the lobby to get to the pool. So there was not much privacy. But the man that lifequards was an amazing person and did his job wonderfully. Dont be fooled by the Plaza name because it is not related. If i could do the stay over, i would have paid a bit more abd stayed in Manhattan just because that is where you spend most of your time abd the traveling is a pain.
