The rooms were clean, check in and out were excellent. The only thing I would change in the listing is it can be a bit misconstruing on the hot/tub and pool, as that is not actually on the property. Washcloths and hand towels are not included. But overall it was a great place, close to our venue, clean, and spacious for the crew we had. Charlie was easy to get in touch with and answered all our questions in a timely manner. The place met all of our needs.

This place is fantastic, Charlie was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was satisfactory. This place includes a lot in your stay such as towels soap/shampoo and even cotton swabs. This place is a great location and will 100% recommend for anyone staying in the area. We will definitely book again at this place and so should you if you want privacy and a great stay with a fantastic host. Thank You Charlie for the warm welcome.

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
While everything was fine until check in, we noticed the house had mold in the windows and there was a persistent beeping noise coming from within the owners closet that was locked in the basement bedroom. The beeping noise was loud enough traveled through the house. I reached out to the host asking for help and he didn’t respond until after we had checked out. We couldn’t use basement bedroom and heard beeping throughout the night. Do not recommend.

Clean and convenient

The property is very comfortable and clean. It is convenient to the ski area, Warwick, New York's apple orchards and fun main street shopping, Penning's Cidery & Orchard. The driveway is steep, if you have multiple cars, parking across the street (if allowed) may be preferred.

Review of Our Stay: Disappointing and Misleading

This rental experience turned out to be the worst stay we’ve had. While the property itself was clean and matched the description in most respects, the claim of a "Private Mountain Getaway" was completely false. We arrived on a Friday night, only to find the house located right on a busy main road with a strip mall directly across the street. It was far from private, and the constant traffic made turning out of the driveway difficult. This was clearly a commercial area, not a serene retreat. The issues continued on our first night when the first-floor toilet clogged and we were unable to fix it. When we contacted the owner the next morning, we were told it would be difficult to get a plumber on the weekend, and no effort was made to actually resolve the issue. As seniors, having only the upstairs bathrooms available was a major inconvenience due to the limited handrails and my own difficulty with stairs. After spending hours with a worn-out plunger on Saturday afternoon, I finally managed to unclog the toilet myself. Not exactly how I wanted to spend my vacation. There were other frustrations as well. There was no house manual provided, leaving us guessing on how to operate various amenities. The internet was unreliable, often cutting out entirely, which meant no TV since it was dependent on the internet connection. We only managed to get the TV working for about an hour throughout our entire stay.We left on Monday the owner was adamant that we check out on time.
