Cozy Beach Cottage - Walking distance to the Beach!!

Summer Reservations: 7-night minimum Saturday to Saturday. (June.July.August)


Totally renovated Beach Cottage in seaside neighborhood. Steps away from the Beach Access and only blocks away from Seashore State Park and all it has to offer. There is a large living area with a 55" smart tv, full bathroom and large bedroom at the front. Step up to the kitchen area with all new ss appliances and another "as is" TV mounted in the kitchen. 2 bedrooms and another full bath are located just off the kitchen. Patio door leads to a small deck on the side of the home. 2 outdoor showers. Plenty of off-street private parking for your beach going guests. Enjoy plenty of great local seafood restaurants and entertainment within minutes of this home. This is the best of bay living on the Bay side of Shore Drive. Everything you need to for you beach vacation.

Included: beach cart, beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, sand toys, boogie boards and tubes.

This property is as advertised - comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood with almost immediate beach access. The house has modern upgrades, comfortable beds, and a very well-stocked kitchen including utensils, coffee options, and a good variety of cooking staples and household supplies (spare light bulbs, switch blocks, etc). Bathrooms were clean; good plumbing and soap/shampoo dispensers in both showers. We had no issues with the door locks, wifi, dishwasher/washing machine, gas grill, or other amenities. Location-wise you can't ask for much better on the northern side of Virginia Beach - 5 minutes to First Landing State Park, 20 to the oceanfront, and near-instant walking access to a great stretch of beach where you can walk for a solid hour plus in either direction. We stayed with dogs and the property is well-suited for them, but be aware that the yard is fenced along the back and sides of the house but not gated, so you won't want to let pups run free in the backyard unless they have excellent recall. The street isn't busy; you can hear a bit of traffic from Shore Drive in the front room sitting area, but the bedroom was perfectly quiet all night. The only thing I might suggest is more silverware - we ran out of forks after a couple of meals. We stayed over Christmas and the house was tastefully decorated including a lit tree, which was a wonderful backdrop to our family Christmas dinner. Thank you for a great stay!

Great beach cottage, short walk to beach

Highly recommend this cozy beach cottage. It's a short walk to the beach and in a nice beach community. The house was nicely updated and the cottage met all of our needs. Hope to stay again in the future.

Spring break with family

Steps from the beach, this property was well equipped with many extras in addition to the more than ample supplies for the kitchen and bath. Clean, roomy and quaint with great space for our large family dinners. Great front porch and yard. Our go-to rental for future visits to Va Beach!

Va Beach trip 3/2025

Great stay at this house in Va Beach with our dog. The house was clean, welcoming and comfy. It was well stocked for all of our needs and the proximity to a quiet beach along the Chesapeake is something that can’t be beat. Also, it was very close to a variety of great restaurants and lots of hiking options in First Landing State Park. We will be back!!

Thanksgiving

The cottage was indeed cozy and very nice for our family of 4 plus dog. The beach is steps away. We enjoyed hikes in the First Landing State Park. It was also nice to be able to walk to the nearby Food Lion for those things we forgot to bring.
