The property was right on the beach and close to many things. The rooms needed updating, paint and better cleaning. The poo was only accessable by going outside the hotel into another building, no direct access and no ones keys worked ao you needed an emplyee to go outside with you to let you in

1. Part of bathroom door had been knocked out. 2. Walls were thin, and could easily hear TV from room next door. 3.TV was size of a oomputer monitor. 4. Lights flickered. 5. Phone connector fell apart when calling front desk.

I travel to Va Bch often on business and stay on beach front properties in the off season. This property has changed ownership several times. The condition now is improved from years past but not good. This hotel has one redeeming feature, accessible on site parking. Most other Atlantic Blvd hotels have very restrictive parking, valet park or off site. Pros: parking, location (middle of the strand), interstate access. Cons: not particularly clean, no breakfast, room service by request only on multi day stays, less than friendly staff, electric outlet availability (bring a power bar, you'll be lucky to find 1 or 2 unused receptacles and you will not want to try and reach them to unplug lights or appliances), and a generally run down condition. All said its not as bad as some of the reviews state and with the homelessness and increasing crime in the area you will not want to be walking a block or more to retrieve your car at night. I'll continue to use this hotel while I search for an affordable alternative.

This is an older property but clean and comfortable in an ideal location for walking to restaurants, shops, etc. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. Great value for the area and the views!

Night shift front desk girl was great. Room was great. Did have a slow drain in shower. Room was nice, beautiful oceanfront view with chairs on balcony. Parking is rough at times, but they do have another lot across the street in the alley which isn’t far from the hotel. The area around the hotel is nice, there are restaurants across the street. We ate at Chix on the beach 2 days in a row, short drive towards the busier end of the boardwalk….we probably could have walked it. The shrimp, crab legs, and hush puppies are sooo good but be prepared to pay a hefty bill. The only complaint I have is the pop machines need Sierra Mist or coke products. And the hallways need a little paint and more appeal, but I can deal with those things for what I paid. Went on a Friday night, checked out on a Sunday (October) and paid 265. (2 nights) definitely stay here. I’ll be back for sure.

Ocean view was great! Wished the balcony could have been enclosed or private. Neighbors were out almost naked my kids couldn't really have enjoyed it. Overall good.
