"Ocean Star” is a great spot for active, beach-loving families! No fuss, no frills, with a nice ocean view off the deck and a 3 minute walk to the beach. Third row convenience and plenty of space at this traditional beach home offers a great week at the beach for a great price. Plan to spend all day on the beach, kayaking in beautiful Back Bay, or just hanging out on the deck. The kids can enjoy playing ping pong in the garage (no air conditioning but a great spot for teens).

Day trips to the Virginia Beach boardwalk offers interesting (and unusual) people-watching, or spend the day at the Aquarium if you have a rainy day, but mostly just hit the beach in the morning, back for lunch and back to the beach for great fun with the family all week. Bring the boogie boards and beach chairs…and relax.

We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant, and 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. Kitchens include drying towels. Week at the Beach

Location was good. Condition and cleaniness wasn't good. Cobwebs everywhere, decks bad, lights over tge table. Mold in the showers. Cabinet door above refrigerator broken

House is not what it looks like online.

The sand bridge blue could be a very nice property . But need lots of work. If you expect to get top dollar for rent it better be top dollar quality . There were more tables on patio that is was crowded with 5 people not the 14 is states it will sleep. Broken chairs and tables on pool deck. Nothing matched in the house. Kitchen table chairs were 3 different types for a table for 8. The grass was over grown and nothing was maintained out side . Broken chairs, tables. - table didn't even have any chair though out the entire property that would work with it. Holes in Ceiling garage. Could use ping pong table because there were so many bikes in the way. 19 to be exact. Lol Deck was very cobbed together. Railing were very loose. Beds were not queen size . Standard queen bed is 60 in wide these bed were 54 inches and that makes the a full size. My stepfather is legally blind and first think out of his mouth was these are not queen size. Washer leaked , ice machines did not work except the kitchen. They have way more dish's than needed. If a groups of 14 stayed a week they would have no place for food. Every cupboard was full. We have to keep our dry food on kitchen counter. Hot water was not even warm when we got there. The owner came and turned it up .the reason it was Luke warm was the cleaning staff / maintaince had all kind of towels stuffed in there owner saw that and said that's not good. Lol. He cleaned some out but not enough for me to feel safe. So the pics on line are very deceiving it's not what your paying for. And I told them that on the 1st day of a 7day vacation. So I would not recommend .

Amazing

Pictures dont do this vacation home justice. Its very spacious and cozy. It catered to both my extroverted and the introverted family members. They did have little wear and tear but nothing that would ruin a perfect vacation spot

Great weekend stay

Booked the house for Memorial Day weekend with friends. Very spacious and had loads of amenities. We were all adults but it would have been great for kids, there were all kinds of games and lots of bikes. So much space, would be great for big groups, and the living space and balconies gave multiple places to hang out. It's a very quiet area so even on the busiest days the beach didn't feel jam packed. Only mild inconvenience was that the AC didn't work equally in all the rooms, so some bedrooms were really cold but some were a little stuffy. Also, the internet code was sent incorrectly but the company kindly replied to texts after hours to help out. Overall a great space, would definitely come back.

Great choice

We traveled with several other families with small kids and this was the perfect location. It took less than five minutes to get to the beach, the pool provided hours of fun, and the house was large enough to spread out.

Great location!! Good views for being the 3rd row from the ocean. House was huge and accommodated all of us very well. Wish the weather was warmer and the pool was open but it is the beginning of April. Overall good place to stay

Great place for family gathering

Overall, the house is comfortable and well appointed. There are plenty of cookware, dishes, glasses, mugs and silverware for use, but we had to improvise for serving pieces and buy aluminum pans for casseroles and other dishes. (We were here for Thanksgiving). Our biggest complaint is that the dishwasher was broken. There are some minor maintenance items that need to be repaired but we found the home to be a great choice for my family to spend the holiday week together. The beach is a short walk away and this would be a wonderful place for a summer gathering, with the large pool and barbeque area here. We recommend Ocean Star for your next family vacation.

If you enjoy a clean well kept home, or have allergies or asthma this place is not for you. I don’t mind an older property but this place was not kept well… had tiles and screens held on with duct tape, lukewarm in one of the masters so the large tub was not useable, had issues with ants, and broken furniture. It also hasn’t had a good deep clean in so long that my husband had an asthma attack the first night. Management sent cleaners out 3 times; however they were rude about it because they wish I had addressed everything the first time. However, unless you go looking for issues sometimes you don’t see them right away. It’s also not my job to quality control the cleaning staff or provide them with a punch list. I’m disappointed with Sandbridge because of this interaction and above that I cannot stress enough that if you value clean floors and a dust free home this place is definitely not for you.

House not real Clean but we had a great vacation

The house is not the cleanest, (IT WAS NOT COVID CLEANED AFTER THE LAST GUEST) after getting out of the shower and walking around in my bare feet they needed washed again. Kitchen could be organized better and some of the stuff removed as there is no place to put your food. It needs a lot of maintenance work done. The decks need some work. I called the owner to tell him about the hammock that broke when our 8 year old grandson laid on it and he stated he knew that some of the ropes were bad, he should have taken it down!! After talking to the owner he texted me and asked when we would be out of the house on departure day so he could get in there and get it ready for the next guest which I thought was very rude of him. The house could use some curtains in the bedrooms. The extra fridge in the lower level is great!! The pool is amazing but us old people could have used a hand rail to help us get in the pool.

Virginia Beach family reunion

This property was beautiful, had room for everyone, just steps from the beach, great spaces for kitchen, commons areas together, washer dryer, decks outside spaces, super large hot tub inside, plenty of bathrooms. Definitely worth the stay

It was okay. It could had been clean better. I felt like the family that stay there before we stayed there their items were left behind which the cleaning crew should had taking care of it. The house need to be check to make sure there is no problem with ants or any other pest. Repair work is needed on the house.

God house, great pool

Enjoyed our stay. Beach access was quite close and the house was very comfortable. There was an over abundance of kitchenware—could be slightly reduced so that there would be a bit more storage space for food. Certainly not a major problem! Made repeated calls to property manager regarding front door access. Everyone was olote but the doe was never fixed. Only other thing to note is that Sandpiper Road is quite busy. Could be a concern with younger children in your group. Overall, a positive experience
