My ocean view suite was NOT ocean view as advertised. Went to front desk and they said that is the 3rd partys fault because they advertise how they want. The only ocean view rooms are called ocean front. They did nothing about it just told me to contact who I booked thru. Travelocity did nothing not even got back to me.

Most of Virginia Beach just isn’t as kid friendly hotel wise, this is in a great location away from the normal craziness and offers a lot of amenities for children which I appreciate. I will be back to Virginia Beach now that I’ve experienced this hotel!

The staff was vert helpful and nice. I had to check in late because it takes 10 hrs to drive there. I was worried reading reviews about adult only pools and far off property parking and long elevator waits. I didnt have a problem with any of that. The elevator was fast and i like the fact that you have to use a key card to get on. The parking is about to blocks down the street but super easy to walk. They have 1 adult only pool off the lobby. If you walk past that they have 2 pools for kids and adults outside and one insaide. Its a little loud at times beause of army jets flying by but you dont notice that after a while. I got a king suite with pull out couch.its a 1 bedroom with full kitchen. The bathroom connects to the bedroom and the bathroom so 2 soora. Warning you can hear everything going on in that bathroom lol. The jeta in the tub are amazing. I would stay again. Lager head restaurant is next door and they have amazing food.

Higher floor on south side a must!

You must stay either beach side or on at least the 7th floor if on south side. The air conditioning/ power generation is too loud to hear ocean (or yourself think) if any lower. Higher= better. Ask at the desk if you are not oceanfront.

If you are traveling with Kids this is not the property for you. While the hotel over all is Ok, it is worth knowing a few things before booking. Family/ kids pool is located on the property next door. There is no access to that area without walking outside. The indoor pool is for 21 and over, so if you want to use the family pool be prepared to walk outside wet during cold weather. I stayed there for six days, not once they came to clean the room. I requested 3 times for somebody to come and tidy up and nobody came. I had to clean the room with a broom that I found, and take the garbage out. Might as well stayed at an airbnb and pay less.

The information sheets they gave to surrounding areas were not accurate the restaurants were either close or renamed. Room was dirty when we got there . They had to switch out our room twice. The beds were full size bed not queen

My room was a lot smaller than I anticipated... like REALLY small. There was a disturbing noise throughout the night where the toilet would arbitrarily run for a few seconds every so often. Also, my room wasn't ready when we arrived (around 6:30pm), which you do not want to hear after a long day of travel. With that being said, the staff were extremely move, which was a major plus.
