Enjoyed the room after a 6 hour drive.Traveling in the Fall is best if you are traveling with your significant other -rates are reasonable & traffic is smooth .

Oceanfront hotel at the end of the boardwalk. Great view with balcony, and a 4 minute walk to Waterman's, a favorite restaurant of ours. Very affordable hotel in off-season.

Nice stay

Loved the view! Nice to be at the end of the beach. Friendly staff. Clean. There was a funky smell in the elevator. The room was nice…there was a strip between the 2 types of flooring that was not covering the seam between the flooring but it didn’t affect our stay in anyway. Just a poor aesthetic.

Open to giving the hotel another try.

Clean oceanfront hotel and friendly staff. Unfortunately our room door had issues staying shut, and the balcony door was hard to open. Maintenance tried to fix it but were not able to. I think they both need major repair. It was our anniversary trip and we ended up leaving 2 days early.

Hotels.com site had very positive reviews and they were right. The staff was wonderful and welcoming. The room was in tip top shape when I arrived. Everything that a good hotel room should have was there. And the room was thoroughly cleaned after my first night! When I stay for two nights at a hotel the room is often not cleaned after the first night. Great view and good location.

Our favorite place to stay

Always interesting at the Schooner Inn. Best prices on the ocean but not the fanciest. Plain and simple is what you get. Great location near Rudee Inlet provides entertainment all hours of the day. If the weather is bad, you can sit inside and watch the waves crash and surfers too. I think it may be time to replace the mattresses again.

It was a very peaceful location on the Boardwalk. Very clean. Everyone was friendly. The beds were a little firm for me. The TV was a little small. But other than that it was a great stay!

The hotel staff was great! I had the ocean front view and kitchenette. The hotel is nice overall but could use some renovations. My room also had a weird smell coming from HVAC so I had to keep the balcony door open for fresh air. I also found some small ants scavenging for food here and there around the room.
