Clean, bright rooms! Excellent views. Kind, helpful staff. On the boardwalk, so it's walkable, but at the very end so it's still quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended.

We were very disappointed that our room didn’t have the cooking capabilities that all the others had. We planned our trip around having the option. We didn’t say anything because we were satisfied with the placement of our room and our neighbors we met.

The room didn’t have ac or a functioning door. We came back to our room with the door wide open. Staff was aware but didn’t care to let us know even though they knew we were traveling with two kids, one who was only 2years old. They switched our room to one without a jacuzzi and we still didn’t have ac. Staff were terrible and unhelpful. This was our second time there and we will never go back there again after this.

Comfortable room/bed. Great access to beach in relatively uncrowded area of Virginia Beach. Free electric car charging stations for registered guests. Reasonably priced. But hotel is very dated and is in need of renovation/refresh!

Loved this property. We had 2 big and clean rooms with 2 beds and a kitchen in each, also with balconies. The rooms had one room between us, so very near each other. The hotel is at one end of the boardwalk, so we had access to everything we wanted. The price was much more reasonable than any nearby.

The room as always was very clean. I like that they have coffee maker, microwave etc. however, the maintenance of it could use a lot of updating. We struggled everytime to get in the door. And the door going out to the balcony was also not working well. The toilet cut on about every three minutes, so it had to have a leak somewhere. We have been at schooner inn many times, but the maintenance on our room was in bad shape.

I liked my view from the balcony, easy walk to beach, boardwalk and shops. The staff were really nice and helpful. parking was easy and felt safe. Really wish Schooner would enforce their own rules about non smoking though, that was an issue. Overall, i would stay again...
