A beautifully appointed Bed and Breakfast. Spotlessly clean, really pretty surroundings and yummy breakfast prepared by our gracious host Carol. Highly recommend the Lake Lucille B&B.
This bed and breakfast is very nice. There was a common kitchen so you can cook meals instead of eating out. The property's landscaping is beautiful. There is a garden that supplies some of the vegetables used in the prepared food, a dock with fishing poles and chairs, as well as a covered sitting area with a gas fire pit.
After a wonderful breakfast, my wife enjoyed looking at the gift shop.
This place is an oasis! Carol is the best hostess we have ever encountered. The entire facility felt loke you were at home. Highly, Highly recommended. Can't go wrong.
We Loved everything about our stay..
The B & B feels like going home..
Cozy...Clean....the flower garden and other garde are gorgeous...The home is decorated such care you truly feel at home ..quiet and yet at Famous Carol's Breakfast table...the chatter is fun among other couples as we await the feast .This is an array of breakfast dishes...such as stuffed blueberrie french toast..with a to die for sauce she should bottle 🤗. frittatas.. scrambled eggs and sausage.... Caroll is one of the sweetest most wonderful hostses ..lovely Lady..
As Alaskans road tripping for a quick weekend getaway this spot was a treasure and our favorite of the trip. Delicious food, wholesome company, good communication, stunning grounds, and peacefully quiet. We will be back anytime we need to go through ANC.
This is a beautiful B&B with beautiful property, and great breakfast. Carole, the owner has lots of fun to view collections, is a quilter. There are chairs overlooking the lake. We only stayed one night and with we planned on more. This property is a perfect choice!!
We were very happy with our stay here. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of dishes. The grounds were beautiful and right on Lake Lucille. There was a dock also where you could relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery or fish with the provided poles. We stayed in the “Amber Rose” room which was beautiful and spacious with its own sitting room. We would definitely stay here again!! Highly recommend!
Charming and very clean B&B. Host Carol is very kind, organized and a fantastic host. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The lake is beautiful. We enjoyed watching the ducklings swimming around the dock. Breakfast was delicious and it was fun to eat with all the guests.
A wonderful stay! Carol took great care of us. The location is beautiful and easy to get to. And, there is an a wonderful brewery less then a mile from the house.
Breakfast was outstanding! Thank you!!
It was an absolutely amazing experience. Everything was very easy when it came to check in and check out. It’s located right on the lake with a nice dock for fishing with rods ready to go. Fireplace in the room was great. If you are in a hurry you can get your breakfast to go! Will be staying here for all my trips!
The most unique thing about the property was the owner, Carol. From the moment I entered until the time I left I felt like I was home and visiting with a friend. The property is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the check in instructions were very clear, and the homemade breakfast was delicious!! (menu changed every day and if you had to leave early Carol would pack up a breakfast for you. I stayed 3 nights, great pricing, and again the most Amazing host!! And I will add that Carol is quite the artist. I would list all of her abilities but there is not enough room or time. Carol has a small gift shop in her home as well...I didn't want to leave. Did I say that it is a beautiful location, looking out on the lake!!!
