I stayed here to be close to Adams as I'm working on a project there. My regular place was booked, so I figured I'd give this place a try. Staff was super friendly. The property itself was outdated and the room was very basic, but clean. There was no coffee maker in room and I didn't notice the complimentary breakfast that was mentioned in the property detail. Thankfully there was a Kwik Trip accross the street. Since I just needed a clean place to sleep that accepted dogs, I'll probably return. Would love to see a coffee pot in there someday.

Try to find something else

Not much choice due to the event I was attending. It was just one night but I wouldn’t recommend this location, especially for a solo female traveler. It gave me the ick due to the condition and overall experience.

The restaurant has been closed down and the breakfast is cereal from a dispenser. My room was clean and the AC worked are the only positives. Rooms overpriced and a lack of food options were problems. Luckily there is a Kwik trip done the road.

Yes, it is in the middle of nowhere and an alternative if you need a place to stay. The property itself is very old, tired and run down. Needs a renovation desperately.

TLC is needed all around facility!

Room was clean. Bed was comfy. Owner was friendly. Property has been abused and unkempt. Trash is laying around outside; even right next to where you park. There is no bar, just another door with a filthy window into a closed facility. Roof was leaky and place smells like an old basement. Paid $151 for a king suite. Was well worth maybe 1/2 that. As they say, “The entire place needs TLC”.

Unreasonably charged me for three nights when I did not stay at all. Expedia App confusing and I completed a booking. Charged and did not know zi had the booking. Expedia got its money and don’t care. The insurance I bought through Expedia the same. The motel owner says she will let me stay a night for half price. I am from the area. Room was clean - Clerk was friendly - That's all that was good about the place. There was no breakfast available, not even coffee. Vending machine boarded up. Ice machine not working. Bar as advertised appeared like it hadn't been open since COVID. Property was kind of a mess - Railing in the back was un-safe - garbage scattered here and there.

The owner was pleasant and our room was clean. The amenities in the room was limited with no coffee maker. We were the only guest in the lodge. The adjacent restaurant has been closed for years. The breakfast area was limited in size and the only seating was a 6 foot folding table. Breakfast included coffee from a 30 pot brewer, choice of two packaged muffin and cereal from two dispensers. Needless to say, we avoided breakfast at the lodge. The surrounding area was a disgrace. If you want to experience a 3rd world country overnight, here it is.

I highly not recommend this hotel. Please note that the restaurant is no longer open and the only thing for breakfast is 1 kind of cereal with 1 choice of milk. 1%. You get 1 key when you have multiple people in the room. You have to get the nice gentleman at the desk to let you in your room.
