The problem with this property is that the housekeeping is lacking. The floors were dirty and even after I brought this up to the team nothing was done. Staff was nice but understaffed and overworked. By far the worst NH I’ve stayed at which is surprising bc the chain is usually top tier!

Pros: The room was clean and quiet with a cool view of the rooftops. The location is superb. Everything around is walkable or accessible by a tram. Lots of restaurants around, for any taste and wallet. My favourite is Restaurant d'Vijff Vlieghen - an amazing experience, 2 min away from the hotel. Cons: The furniture needs updating to better fit the rooms. My room was trapezoidal in shape and filled with bulky furniture that left almost no room for people. The huge, useless cubes on both sides of the bed looked ridiculous and made me claustrophobic.

Nice room for Amsterdam. Clean business type room with some space. Decent bed. Canal facing room was nice but noisy. In addition, the plumbing is loud so it sounds like water rushing down the wall every time someone above uses the bathroom. Use earplugs. Overall, good for a mid level European hotel room.
