Maybe this is a two star hotel? Pretty gross. We slept with our clothes on and used our jackets to cover the pillows (hair on bed, pillow, sink, etc). We didn’t shower or use the facilities. We slept and left without complaint - it wouldn’t change anything. The pictures are from many moons ago or touched up.

Ok for a one night stay.

It served its purpose for our brief one night stay. Beds were comfortable. Good pillows. Water pressure good. No issue with having hot water. The continental breakfast was nice. Staff in lobby were pleasant. The room itself was pretty beat up. Lots of drywall patchwork. Chipped paint. Discoloration of grout and caulking. Towels and wash cloths need replacing. Everything was clean but didn’t “feel” clean if that makes sense.

For a place close to airport that is quick and easy to book with Expedia, and has free shuttle to and from airport, it was fine. Very dated and needs touchups. Kitchen with large fridge to store our frozen fish. Hotel also has an even larger freezer available. Cheap and easy, a short walk in the aerodome lake, very dated, window doesn’t open in room.

The biggest problem was the hotel charged my credit card for the entire cost of the stay which was already paid for. The only thing I authorized was the early check in fee which is fair. Please verify if my credit card was credited with the refund. The room wasn't cleaned at all, but after 20 minutes is was a little better. I'm not sure if it was a misscommunication with the cleaning staff and front desk.

My expectations were low as this was a bargain hunt. You get what you pay for. Pluses: friendly staff at check in and check out. Quick and efficient airport shuttle both ways. Comfy bed and TV worked. Walking distance to subway, Gwenies, McDonald, Wendy’s. Room was big:living/dining/kitchen good size and separate bedroom was a nice arrangement. Negatives: dirty and run down…no pride in cleaning. No utensils/pots/pans in kitchen which made the stove/oven useless. The kitchen did have a coffee maker, which had an old and moldy single serve bag of used coffee grounds, and the coffer pot was not clean. No coffee left in the room to make fresh coffee. One bedroom wall had numerous spackle patches but they were not sanded and painted…just white patches on a mauve wall. Bit of a sketchy neighborhood. If they have a daily cleaning staff it doesn’t show. The only clean items were the sheets and towels, which for me was most important. Again, I chose this hotel because of the low price, so I didn’t expect much. But for $190 per night, even in Alaska, you should be able to at least get a clean room. Little things make a big difference. I might stay there again, but only if I was by myself and no wife, kids with me.

I was on a one night stay due to a flight delay and so lucky to find a room on short notice with Airport shuttle service. The hotel and outside areas were run down and the neighborhood sketchy. The interior halls had dirty and stained carpets and walls. My 2 bedroom suite was clean, with vinyl flooring, old furnishings, and only one lock on the door. The bed and bedding were clean and comfortable. It was quiet except for noisy footsteps above me. There was a full size fridge and kitchen but I wouldn’t want to stay longer than one night.

The hotel use to be an apartment complex. The picture on the Expedia site needs to be updated. If anyone books this hotel, there's no elevator to get to the rooms on the second and third floors. There is a Wendy's and a McDonald's within walking distance, but again, it is not a good area.

This is an older motel. (We are in our 70's and we know what an older motel looks like, the younger generation probably does not.) The lot next to it makes it look "less than" because what was there is torn down and it is gravel and broken cement. We stayed there two nights and the rooms were clean and has what you need in a motel. Do not expect matching furniture and decor. The mattresses were very comfortable. The breakfast has a good variety of convenient options. It is perfectly adequate, clean, and the staff were very helpful. It has a McDonalds and Wendy's close by and also Chopped and Chowdered a higher end restaurant that serves the most delicious food cooked to perfection.

This place is a DUMP! Stayed one night to catch an early flight. In need of MAJOR renovation! Old musty carpets to old, and patchy paint, poor squeaky floors from one end to the other. If my wife was with me, I would have not stayed at all. Early morning shuttle was there and timely the next morning. Nut the only positive thing I can say!
