Very nice stay, comfortable, excellent and caring staff. Restaurant option with bar , great food. Beds and rooms very comfortable and quiet and clean. Wake up service, free shuttle to airport 24/7. I Would highly recomend Heartland hotel. I will definitely stay there when next time 8n A7ckland.

The hotel was good to stay at and we have stayed there a lot in the past, one problem was the stairwell and hall way smelt strongly of smoke, maybe they are using a bad carpet cleaner.

Great location to the airport with a fantastic included shuttle with friendly drivers. Our assigned room was dreadful as smelt musty and was so noisy as we were assigned ground floor opp the staff entry to the restaurant. Bed was uncomfortable and sheets didn’t feel fresh and crisp like they should in a motel. Very disappointing as our previous stay in a refurbished upstairs room was great.

Good pit stop

This is a good airport hotel. The reception is spacious and well staffed, the room was comfortable and clean. The room is well stocked with nice toiletries and tea/coffee. The shower was not great though and the tv is pretty basic, if these things matter to you. I would recommend walking to a local pub called The Post Office for dinner, as it is only 5 minutes away and the food was really good with a good selection of drinks and lovely staff. You get a 10% discount if you are staying at the Heartland. We had the free breakfast, which was fine, but this must be the only place in NZ with terrible coffee! Yikes. Finally, we used the shuttle bus and the service was excellent. Overall, a very good option at a reasonable price.
