a bit run down

Pupuke Manor Motel, it served the purpose of being handy where we needed to be, it was comfortable enough but probably more suited to uni students. Room was advertised as 2 x queen beds + twin beds. However room only had 1 queen bed + 1 king single bed with pull out trundler bed underneath. Unit had no teaspoons, no hand towels, no tissues, tv very hard to get going, Shower supplies were just from the supermarket over the road, and unit run down.

Not exactly as advertised

We booked a deluxe bungalow. It says it has 2 queen beds 1 twin single and 1 fold out sofa bed. It did not. It had 1 queen and 1 twin. When I queried they said they do have have a bungalow with 2 queens and that they will bring a second roll or twin bed. Advertising needs to change needs to change as it is false. Woolworths is right across the road which is handy. Quiet and bungalow was comfy enough but dated.

This property seems to be emerency housing and when we were there, there was an incident when police had to be called on a semi permanent resident. We were meant to stay for three nights but checked out after one... would not recommend for anyone especially children.

It was very quiet easy walk to supermarket was a good location. There was a few things that could be fixed broken tile-hole, wardrobe needs repair, aircon outlet throw wall needs sealing and the big one the shower needs a deep clean and even a bigger one room 12 upstairs the concrete step near the top somebody is gonna have a accident needs attention big cracks and its breaking away.

Very average motel with very small room

Sheets on bed didn't fit property and there was a lot of noise from people talking very loudly from the managers residence right next door until around 11pm.

Very good budget friendly motel.

Initially I had difficulty with the door lock to my room but the manager Ethan fixed it temporarily and then the next day called a locksmith who repaired the lock and from then on I had no trouble with the lock. I give this hotel a good review in the context of it's modest price. The room was spacious and clean and was equipped with a nice small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and a two burner stove top. I was offered new towels every day of my one week stay. The motel is in easy walking distance to Takapuna's CBD which has great bus connections to anywhere you would want to go in the greater Auckland area. All in all, a nice, safe budget friendly motel.

It’s a cheap motel with basic amenities like one towel and no face cloth etc. the room I had had frosted glass so poor lighting and the access was via steps best described as a lader which I fell down nearly snapped my ankle The complex looks like a trailer park with permanent residents on site There is no housekeeping so once you use your condiments that’s it Very disappointed for what I paid
