The beds were comfortable. The room was very musty smelling when we arrived, we aired it out and sprayed. I believe the rooms at the top have been done up. Maybe they will do the others soon, hopefully. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Very nice garden and lawn with fire pit. You can see the harbor in the distance and the air is fresh. Within walking distance to center of town, very convenient.

Located just on the edge of Baddeck the property is a quick drive to town and located within walking distance of a few other hotels with restaurants. The room was clean and the property had some nice chairs to sit out and enjoy the green spaces. Breakfast was included but could have used some more variety in its selections.

Major Reno and maintenance!

This was a stopover before and after we ventured onto the Cabot Trail. The property is old and the rooms are freshly painted, but that’s it, the rooms need a major update from the furniture to the TV and the bathroom counter. The landscaping around the main office needs a major trimming and weeding. These areas are often neglected and it gives an overall reflection of how they take care of the property.

Is it conveniently located in the centre of the island but the hotel itself is apparently poorly maintenaned. Toilet paper holder is broken. Facet leaks. it is understaffed that you have to wait at reception desk if you want to talk someone for help. They give you a contact number but no body answers the call. The breakfast is the simplest I have never seen at any hotel.
