SCAM

This booking is a SCAM! Do not waste your time. I made a reservation for my family to stay in the penthouse, to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We arrive at the building and front desk staff are unaware of any arrangements. I called the number for the “property owner” and get voicemail which directs me to call another number. That number goes to voicemail for a Ms. Jacobs, who then texts me “hello???” after I made several attempts to call her. I asked her about the booking and she was very dismissive, advising there were no more “move ins” for the night. Thank God for the agent at hotels.com for addressing the matter by issuing a refund. They couldn’t reach the property owner either.
