I book Hampton Inns because I can typically expect the hotel to be clean and comfortable. The Hampton Inn in Batavia, NY was gross. I have lost faith in Hampton Inn. I can no longer assume all Hampton Inns are the same.

The spa wasn't hot. The room was hot with a/c down to 60 degrees. Step in hallway it was worse. No milk for breakfast but had cereal out. Nothing to make waffles. It was a bit pricey for what wasnt available

Breakfast was unappetizing and inedible. Room was clean but the bathtub was rusted. Serious water leak in the ceiling in the lobby when we arrived which was addressed with a bucket underneath that caught half the water; thest was pooling on the floor. No explanation from the desk clerk. We've been coming here for over 10 years. The facility has gone downhill.

Good stay - typical Hampton. Quiet room, quiet location. Clean. I do think the chain needs to re-evaluate their hot breakfast service. They are still offering the bagged breakfast at this location. It’s bag your own muffin, granola bar, fruit (looked kind of past prime,) oj prepackaged cups, yogurt cups sitting in water, not ice. We’ve stayed in other hotels that are offering the breakfast bars again while keeping everyone safe and healthy. They also were out of bar soap in the rooms, they did tell us on check in. We were ok with that because we had our own supplies. Thinking that’s more of a temporary supply chain issue, but they could offer some travel hand sanitizer in the rooms in the meantime.
