"I would have rated this hotel much higher; however, our experience with front desk staff on June 16 significantly impacted our stay. We had a reservation through Orbitz for three rooms under a single booking. At approximately 7:30 a.m., we arrived and requested early check-in, asking if any rooms were available. The front desk employee told us that no rooms were open. Shortly after, I sent one of my students back to check again, and he was told that two of our rooms were in fact available—but he was charged a $50 fee to access one of them. This was inconsistent with the initial response and not clearly explained. Later that same day, at approximately 11:00 p.m., we returned to check into the remaining room from the same Orbitz reservation. The front desk employee on duty stated that the room was a separate reservation and required an additional service fee. I showed him my Orbitz confirmation indicating that all three rooms were part of one reservation, but he refused to acknowledge this and insisted on the charge. When I questioned the fee, his demeanor became confrontational, and he indicated that he could refuse to rent the room to us. Overall, the interaction was unprofessional and left me feeling disrespected as a guest. I was traveling with two high school students on an educational field trip from Oregon to visit NASA, and we expected a much higher level of professionalism and clarity. I hope management will review these incidents and address both the inconsistency"

"The hardwood floors were not clean in the rooms. The elevator was covered in cardboard on the walls and on the floor, it looks like it’s been there for a while. The staff had a lot of trouble getting our room keys to work, and we had to go down three times for the door to unlock with the key. We had to ask for the breakfast to be refilled. Otherwise, it was an empty shelf. However, the staff was extremely kind and welcoming."

"Good price with everything we needed, including a pretty darn good breakfast. Check-in staff were not at the front desk when we arrived. They left a note saying they would be back in a few minutes. Turned out to be closer to 10min."

"I was disappointed as usually Hamptons are decent hotels. Breakfast was chaotic, out of stock of most everything, including plates. Staff were not necessarily rude, but not real friendly or really involved in their job. Gym was decent. Pool was much smaller than appears in photos. Our rooms shampoo, conditioners were empty. Had to pay for parking and wifi. Should've just stuck with the Holiday Inn 2 miles away (was way better!)"

"The room tv didn’t work. The pool was closed. There was ants in our room. By far the worst experience. Advertisement will fool ya. That’s for sure!"
