The Space: Cooperâs Landing is located in Cape Charles on Virginia's charming Eastern Shore. The house is situated only 1 block from one-half mile of public beach along the Chesapeake Bay. A beautiful front porch graces this home. Perfect for a peaceful, early morning coffee, or to catch a cool evening breeze. Inside, the owners lovingly decorated and furnished the rustic interior. Antiques eclectically mix with modern furniture to create a cozy atmosphere perfect for family and friends. With three bedrooms (sleeps 5), dining area (seats up to 6), newly remodeled kitchen (additional seating for 2), one full bathroom upstairs, and a full bath downstairs. A landscaped patio with seating for 6 is the centerpiece of a fenced backyard.
Park and leave your car and hop on a golf cart rental to see all that Cape Charles has to offer. There are plenty of activities to enjoy like summer concerts in the park, beachcombing, boating, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, biking, antiquing, cider, wine or bourbon tastings, and visiting our new local craft brewery. There is even a local public library and historical society and museum dedicated to our special town. There is so much to do or you can choose to do nothing at all and relax at this lovely home. That is the best part of staying here.

âą Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.

When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night. - Some homes have cameras for external monitoring only. - HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: In the State of Virginia and in Northampton County, all hotel and vacation rental hosts are required to collect hotel tax. Interaction with Guests: Our goal is that your vacation exceed your expectations. Chesapeake Properties by Portoro communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 14 days (or less) prior to arrival date. We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check in. We do typically check in with guests by text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions. We are available to guests 24/7 for any inquiries.
Loved the home, very cozy home with a wonderful blend of vintage touches and contemporary conveniences in a great location. Would definitely stay here again.
Excellent location, close to beach, comfy bed, nice walk-in showers, huge kitchen, outdoor space in backyard is lovely with brick patio, lots of seating and fire pit. Off-street area behind home to park and charge our rented golf cart. Great stay!
bad location for microwave; need stair rails all the way up the stairs. LR, DR , Kitchen layout is great, Very good location for the beach. Nice quiet neighborhood. Front porch and back yard area is great. House is very functional. I would stay at this house again.
House is perfectly appointed and charming. We will be back. There were a significant # of ants in the kitchen that we were able to mostly get rid of with ant traps. The house looked nice and orderly when we arrived, but was in need of a deeper clean (kitchen floors were sticky).And the umbrella on the back patio was broken - which made that area essentially unusable during the day.Overall, we loved the house and Cape Charles, and we plan on returning!
