The room was pretty decent overall, but there was no hot water in the shower during my stay. This was especially difficult since temperatures dropped to around -8 degrees on some mornings. As an out of state business traveler, dependable hot water is a basic comfort I expect when booking a hotel. The sink was piping hot, much hotter than the shower; clearly an inconsistency. I hope this issue is addressed for future guests.

This was fine for one night, but not really well-maintained. There was a gash in my bathroom door, the ice machine was broken, and the microwave clock had the wrong time. Despite the AI summary of reviews on here, I thought the parking lot was perfectly fine, but the exit leading to a neighboring restaurant did have a nasty pothole a little outside it that I almost tripped in and seems like it could be a liability.

The room was dirty—stains on the couch and curtain. The bed was very uncomfortable and slouched in the middle. The desk chair still had crumbs on it from a previous guest, and a mouse was running around all night. Also, the employee working at the front desk failed to return my ID to me when I checked in. I also forgot and left the hotel without realizing it. I've spent the past three days speaking with employees and trying to get them to mail my ID to me, but they so far have not said that they will do it. I need my ID ASAP because I am traveling over the holidays. I have also tried to raise this issue with your corporate office, but the automated phone system keeps hanging up on me. This is incredibly frustrating. I will never be staying at a La Quinta or Wyndham hotel again. I showed up to check into my room at 9pm. The room I was assigned was not cleaned. So I went to the front desk and asked to be given a new room. The front desk lady was very nice. But my new room there was holes in the walls, in the door, the shower was broken. As I stated above, the lady at the front desk was very nice and they were most likely under staffed. But I would never stay there again. Furthermore, the sign in the main lobby stated no cash was allowed. Yet they would only accept cash for the add on for a pet. It was very strange. I do not recommend this place at all. And I’m shocked that it stays in business. Avoid it this hotel if you can. Even if the low dollar amount is appealing.

Hotel is wonderful, gives off a homie feeling, although a couple of the housekeepers are snobs and are very judgemental and very lazy and do the bare minimum when cleaning my room. I shouldnt have to tell them what needs done when doing their job.
