Secluded pet friendly hill country home on 7 acres.
Gorgeous country home overlooking the hill country. Enjoy coffee on the screened back porch while watching the native wildlife stroll by. Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove and dishwasher. Lovely gas fireplace to warm up on cold days.
This is a new listing for us, however we have another VRBO that is a small cabin in the same area. Feel free to see the reviews (4.9 rating). https://www.vrbo.com/302156?rm1=a2&expediaPropertyId=46444903
My husband and I and our two small dogs had a nice stay in Hill Country. The house is as described and even nicer when you arrive. The kitchen is spacious snd well equipped and all the rooms are very nice. The screened porch is large and a great place to relax and enjoy nature. It was quiet and safe and not too far from Comfort or Fredricksburg. Only problem was the terrible flooding occurred while we were there so we couldnât go to many of our favorite spots. We really want to visit again when it is cooler.
Although the house is not old, it is decorated with so many vintage things that must have been full of memories to the people who once lived there. We loved the spacious accommodation, the plentiful crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, and the screened back porch. Sitting out there we watched regular grazing deer, a passing jackrabbit and lots of birds. The humming birds are a delight and explained the theme of many items within the house. We found the location handy for visiting places in every direction - no more than 40 minutes in the car wherever we went. Our first visit from Scotland to the Texan Hill Country was a resounding success.
What a great relaxing place to stay while working in the area for a few days. Quiet nights, deer always in the yard. Just amazing. Thank you so much for opening it up to us!
Turns out we only had two of us stay the two nights at your place. Very nice, clean Did not use the kitchen at all. Loved the screened in porch! Rained a lot on Friday but we managed. Bed in master is too hard for my liked
This house was awesome. 20 minutes from everything but far enough to get away from everything. We had an amazing time and will continue to use this house when we come back. House and property was very clean. Wildlife comes in the back yard so you can enjoy that during the stay.
Our adult family of five found the accommodations very suitable for our needs. The host are very responsive and attentive to any of your requests.I would definitely rent it again and recommended to anyone wanting a full-size home and kitchen with a large number of appliances to use and utensils.
Itâs was a good distance from town so it really felt secluded and was nice and quiet. We saw and feed deer, birds and rabbits. It was nice sitting in the porch with coffee in the morning watching the wildlife as well as in the evening. Everything was clean and the linens were well stocked. The master bed was too firm, but thatâs personal preference. Weâd love to stay here again!
If you love nature, this is the best place to stay in the area! It's off the beaten path and perfect! The home was acceptionally clean and has a lot of character. Loved it and highly recommend it!
My mom and sister and I take a girls trip every spring. This house was a wonderful location. The screened porch was a comfortable place to watch the deer (11!) and hummingbirds, redbirds, and finches. The kitchen was modern and well stocked for our meals together. The table was large for games and crafts. The beds were comfy and I appreciated a walk in shower for my mom.
The house was beautiful and clean with a large kitchen and dining table. We loved sitting outside and viewing all the stars. We will definitely return to this house next time we visit the hill country.
The house is quite nice. I want the kitchen, plenty of outdoor space with a large screened in porch. It's a drive out to it on the Old San Antonio Route. Close to the bat cave in which is an old train tunnel worth seeing. Would rent again
We were really blown away by the beauty of the property and the house. Very secluded with the nearest town 20 minutes or so away, we saw tons of deer during the day and stars at night. Was just what we needed to get away from city life for a few days. The house is very well furnished and they even had a decorated Christmas tree up for us to enjoy. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful home!
We really enjoyed our stay. The property was in excellent condition and equipped with everything we needed and more. The kitchen, fireplace and screened porch were favorites for us. The relaxed, peaceful atmosphere of the home and surrounding area make
We enjoyed our time at the house itâs very clean ,comfortable and relaxing, spend the afternoon on the back porch watching deer in the fields, will definitely book again next time weâre in comfort
This home is like walking into the comfort of your own home. It is fully equipped with anything you may possibly need to enjoy a secluded getaway. The home is surrounded by beautiful hills and is just off of the main roadway. It is a scenic 12 mile drive to Fredericksburg. The large screened in rear porch is perfect for morning coffee and evening gatherings. The living area and fireplace are perfect for warming up. The hospitality is unmatched and you will not want to leave to go back to the reality of city life...
Oyr family had a wonderful time in Fredericksburg. So much to do and see. Our accommodations were grest! The house was beautiful and having a screened in pirch was a bonus!
I definitely recommend staying here.
