"I really love this resort and actually stayed there in March for the first time and returned this July and stayed for longer. The only reason I rated it as 'good' rather than 'excellent' is that it is a little dated and not as polished and new looking as some resorts--some people might be looking for that, which I get, but this resort shouldn't be ignored just because of that. The staff are amazing; the rooms are big, clean, and comfortable; the food and drinks are plentiful; the beach and water are amazing (I recommend taking one of those floaties where it's the two small blow-up 'pillows' with mesh in-between to sit on--the shallow part of the water is a bit rocky & it was nice to just float over that part, and those floaties are cheap, light & easy to pack); very little seaweed disruption during seaweed season; and, compared with some of the other more 'posh' resorts I've been to, both times I've gone, I've really loved the range of customers this resort attracts--very nice, not snooty; people from all over the world just ready to relax and have a good time. I've heard it's going to be getting a remodel soon--I think that will be good, but it also makes me a little sad, as I feel its such a gem as it is--I will miss the Secrets Auora that I've just gotten to know and love :)."

"Amazing place if you just want to relax, receive fantastic service and enjoy the all inclusive delicious food and drink. Restaurant quality and service was exceptional. (Remember to bring some proper footwear for the semi formal Italian restaurant. I had to buy some sandals from the shop across the road) Jumping off the jetty into the warm caribbean sea was a great start to the day. Coming from Australia we loved the mix of American, Canadian and Spanish banter during the daily pool volleyball game. Thankyou for such a great experience. Our family of 5 loved it."
