Are stay was from Feb 25th - Mar 2nd 2024. It was a nice hotel for the most part. Staff was friendly. I would like to give a shout out to Federico who greeted us and took care of our luggage. He is a very kind gentlemen. I saw and chatted with him everyday he was working. He made me feel ever so welcome. I left him a butterfly drawning I did and he loved the keep sake. As far as the property it self, it is in need of some updating. During our stay some issues arose (elevator button for my floor stopped working, water pipes burst in lower level corridor), but maintenance took care of. The buffet choices could of been better with more options. I understand people who drink (for free) tend to lose themselves. But the music and the people at bar could be heard from all areas of the hotel in the evening, especially from my room.

Overall the property was what we expected, for the price we paid, our room was in the older portion of the resort, and you could definitely tell this, as our room had the bare necessities, only perk was the view from our deck.. Check in was a COMPLETE joke, waited over 2.5hrs from time of getting to the property to getting to our room. Couldn't make reservations for the restaurant as it was always booked by 8am every day, and couldn't make reservations for other days of our stay. Buffet experience, wasn't the greatest. 4 out of 7 nights we had to sit on the balcony of the beach as there was no tables to eat at, noticed people just lingering at the tables, no rush to leave. As we were there this all seemed to be the common issues as we had conversations with other vacationers..

The older building has so many visible cracks big and small throughout the property. Toilet/shower not working properly. There is a 5” gap between the stairwell and the wall all the way to the 6th floor and it is a safety hazard especially for smaller children Sink has stains everywhere. A/C system doesn’t shut off automatically and drips water in the room thru condensation. There’s no water filtration system utilized because the water smells like mud. They served the same food menu 3 days of my stay in this property. I will never recommend this property if staying in Cozumel.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming especially Randy and Miguel at the restaurant. The beach was amazing and had beautiful fishes to see while swimming and snorkeling. Only issue was that there was no entertainment at night.
