The beach was awesome! Beautiful and excellent for families with children. Overall a great family resorts. My only complaint is the quality of the food from the buffet. But to be Fair, most all inclusive are similar in that sense. I was hoping for more options. Customer sevice did not exceed expectations, not wow effect at all, most people were polite but did not try to impress you or anything compare to other resorts I’ve stayed at in playa and Cancun.

There is so much to love about Allegro Cozumel. Not fancy but nice. My favorite thing? The beach is perfect. Water crystal clear, no rocks, lots of beautiful fish and exquisite sunsets. Staff is exceptional. Food is good but there could be more options. We have stayed at Allegro many times and do not the new restaurant schedule-only one specialty restaurant open each night and difficult to get a reservation.

Our family had an unforgettable vacation at Allegro Cozumel! From the beautiful property to the incredible staff, every detail exceeded our expectations. The beach was breathtaking, with soft, powdery sand and crystal-clear water. There was no shortage of activities to enjoy, from swimming and snorkeling to kayaking and games. The entertainment was truly outstanding, led by an energetic and engaging team. A special shoutout to Diego (our personal favorite) whose charisma, energy, and friendliness made our experience even more fun and memorable! The food and drink options were plentiful and delicious, with excellent service at every bar and restaurant. Check-in was seamless, and the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. We absolutely loved our time at Allegro Cozumel and can't wait to return!

I never leave a review but this time I have to. I would not recommend this resort it was the worst one I have ever been to. Customer service was terrible!! Only one restaurant open and had to stand in line for 45 minutes to make a reservation and had to wait couldn’t get a reservation for 3 days.

If you like eating warm bland beef stew on a day that’s hotter than the devils ***hole, you will love allegro. Food & bar beverages were extremely underwhelming at this resort, make sure to be next to a bathroom if you have the buffet. The food inspectors came on one of the days we were there & it heavily reflected in the limited options available at the buffet, resembling a sort of recession public school lunch but somehow even worse than that. Reservations for the restaurants were hard to get, but it was much better than the everyday stuff offered. Depending on what room you stay in, air conditioning is a LUXURY here, which is insane considering the weather was around 95* every day. Want to get comfortable here? Spend some time in the ocean then. In my opinion, staying at this resort was like being on the show “survivor” - ESPECIALLY if you have any food/allergy restrictions. Concerns listed above were brought to the attention of several staff members & the manager on duty, but no one seemed to care as nothing changed the entire week we stayed here. Our group booked through expedia & within the first couple days, we tried to move resorts but sadly, a refund for the remaining time was not given as an option to us. BUYER BEWARE. Allegro? More like Alleg-NO. Spend a little extra money & go somewhere else if you want it to feel like a vacation.

I never write reviews, but after spending 4 nights 5 days at Allegro resort, I wanted future travelers to be warned 1. Beach was fine, not rocky, but entry into water was sharp drop off with shells. Not a large beach. Can get crowded 2. AC is limited! Rooms are hot and you can't adjust lower. It's hot, sticky and this is awful.No AC at Buffett, night show is outside 3. Food is completely awful! I realize All-inclusives are not meant for great food, but this is not edible. Breakfast is the exact same everyday and beyond limited. I would not touch the eggs or bacon for my life. Ate 1 buffet and dinner and only had bread, everything was beyond disgusting. Had the habachi 1 night because you must stay 3 nights for 1 dinner reservation. The habachi was sub-par. Never ate lunch on resort 3. Drinks, if your looking for fruity,.cute, or plentiful drinks don't come here. Bars close early, limited selection and were always out of something or another. 4. Pools were hot, not just warm, but actually warmer than the hot tub. Not refreshing and sandy bottoms. 5. Don't stay in buildings 32 or 31, next to the sewer clean out which needed cleaned everyday. Workers start early and talk loudly outside of room every morning. Plus the smell of the sewer clean out is horrible. 6. Entertainment is Mariachi band, karaoke (avoid) and Rock band (descent) the "theater" is outside and folding chairs. Rock band was good, didn't understand many of the songs, got bitten by bugs. 7. The property is great. They take really good care of the property and vegetation on the property. And the beach is the best I’ve been on while staying on Cozumel. The food however was bad. Hibachi and Mexican restaurants were ok, but the buffet dining for breakfast and dinner was poor. I expect the food to be somewhat mediocre at an AI, but the food at Allegro was less than mediocre. It was the same handful of selections for the entire 10 days of our stay. Nothing changed at all. No different themed meals from day to day, the same rice, chicken, vegetables, etc every day. It got old very quick. And then there’s the main dining area. It’s above the lobby next to the sports bar. It’s completely closed in with no ventilation or air conditioning of any kind. Did I mention it’s on the second floor? Be prepared to sweat your tail off while you’re trying to eat breakfast or dinner in this place. And lastly is the staffing. This place has no waitress or waiter services around the beach or pool. So if you’re in need of a drink at the pool or on the beach, be prepared to stand in line at the bar and wait. Also, the service staff at the restaurants are minimal. I had to find someone to ask for water or coffee at breakfast multiple days. Just not enough staff for a resort this size. It’s really a shame because the resort and beach are very nice. I will not be returning to this resort unless it changes ownership and makes some big time improvements in management.

Remote/isolated 25 minutes &25 US $ to town. Food quality and selection were disappointing. Italian restaurant ala carte T bone steak was tougher than sole of my shoe. The resort 3/4 empty. No people. Pool snack bar was shut for 2 out of 5 days and we couldn’t bring food from buffet to pool side. The main buffet was on top of the lobby with no windows/ no views. The beach was cleaner than we’d experienced in Playa Car. The resort and the pools were clean.

I like moonlit walks and to sit on the beach at night. They closed the beach and the pool at dark but left the bar opened by the beach instead of the bar in the center of the resort. The outdoor venue played very loud music til 10-10:30 nightly and you could hear it in your room as if you were there. Snorkeling on the beach is pointless. Nothing to see. Good? Cleanliness and staff were amazing! Henri and Diego specifically! Food was good. And i feel its great for littles with the water park area. It was clean! Dive company onsite was great! Thank you to Boon! Good place for the cost!
