"Really enjoyed our stay"

"Really impressed overall. Extremely clean, friendly staff, check-in took less than 2 mins, super comfy bed, soundproof room, the area it’s in is surrounded by great bars and food places, bathroom was private slightly small but it was fine, shower had great pressure, bar downstairs and pool table/table tennis table, visibly LGBTQ+ friendly. Room would’ve benefited from a fridge but not a big deal. "

"Booked this hotel for 2 nights based on the room pictures. Then I saw the exterior picture! Arrived late afternoon, driving along a tatty driveway, into an almost empty carpark that looked more like waste ground with an abandoned car in the corner. The hotel looked derelict. What I assume might have been a swimming pool building looked filthy. Inside the foyer and reception were amazing. My room was just like in the pictures. A little bit dusty, a little bit worn. But it felt like being in some kind of surreal experience. When I went out for the evening and came back, reception was deserted. Ditto the next day. I don't know if this is in the middle of a refurbishment or what. And no wifi in the rooms. I think you could "plug in" to the internet, but no wifi on the 6th floor."

"Great stay, excellent breakfast options but quite expensive (the breakfast). Very friendly and helpful staff. The iPad and TV didn't work as well as expected, but that's no biggie. Pro tip: change the bedsheets to vertical, so you don't have to step over each other when visiting the toilet at night ;)."

"Reception bar staff( 2 males)on arrival were friendly and helpful. The girl on checkout was a bit dismissive. The hotel was funky although some areas were dark and not so welcoming ( the lift lobby) felt like it was forgotten about. Overall great, clean tidy and a good vibe."

"Pros: Good location, spacious rooms, great breakfast. Cons: Pillows could be better."
