Overall stay was okay. The room walls are too thin you can hear EVERYTHING from the rooms next door. Numerous nights we were unable to sleep because of the noise! Also we hated that the room where right opposite a multistorey carpark, so we had to keep the curtain closed at all times unless we were not in the room. We felt the room was quite dark, even when the dimmer was on the brightest setting, we felt the room was still dark. There was no fridge / freezer in the room which we prefer in hotel rooms.

Maiden visit!

Just a one night stay in Glasgow to go see Iron Maiden at the OVO arena. This was my first time staying at the Social Hub. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city centre in the Merchant City district. Very modern and clean throughout. The room was fairly compact but was very comfortable and had everything I needed. Staff were courteous and helpful.

Weird layout. Utterly cramp bathroom that has the toilet and the shower in it then the sink is outside right next to the hanging space. Stayed in a number of coworking hubs and this one feels really cramped, the focus is on the downstairs facilities if that’s what you want out of your stay.
