Outstanding Hotel

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: The location was not the greatest .... there was a very nice park across the street boardering the Arno River.
Wonderful service, outstanding breakfast buffet, coffee great. We enjoyed the hotel immensely and highly recommend it to others. Our room was comfy and even the hotel cleaning staff was polite and helpful...They gave it their all.

Florence

We stayed here last year on a tour. It was clean and convenient to the sights so this year, we stayed again independent of a tour. An easy walk to the major piazzas, duomo, David, Uffizzi, Ponte Vecchio, and, of course food and shopping. On the Arno so you can always find your way back!

Tried to move us to another hotel

On arrival we were told they overbooked because some construction had not been completed. They had booked us in a hotel 3/4 mile further from attractions. I told them this was not satisfactory. They expressed sorrow. No rooms. We had booked 2 months earlier and pre-paid. Not satisfactory and asked who had not checked in yet? We'll take their room. When the asst. manager decided we were not going away, she found us a room. I suspect they had an opportunity to sell that room at a higher price.

The hotel was overall a great place for the price.

Pros: Free breakfast
This hotel is in a very convenient location as it located just 10 minutes from the Duomo. It seems as though many tourists are geared toward this hotel. The lobby and restaurants were very nice. The rooms were smaller than expected but still a great value.

Nice Hotel, great staff, good location, reasonable prices

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet, convenient to tourist sites
Cons: No free Internet
We liked this hotel. It was close to Old Town for all tourist locations and it was comfortable with good breakfasts and excellent staff. Walking distance to everything Florence is famous for. By the way, all museums are closed on Mondays....
