The sofa bed was old and hard to take up and down so we left it down which left little room for moving around and the washer did not ring out the laundry?? josie
Our host was a bit late meeting us but was very apologetic and sincere about her tardiness. Our 3 bedroom apartment was close to the train station and was a walkable distance to the tourist sites and a market down the street. We were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of the apartment, and loved that there were 2 air conditioner units (very valuable in the middle of a heat wave in Florence) as well as a strong fan. It was furnished well with updated décor and had 2 washrooms. It was nice to have little extras like coffee, sugar, and tour books for our use. The only negatives would be: the washing machine didn't work, and having to walk up the narrow stairway to the 3rd floor with luggage was difficult....but really these are not deal-breakers. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book at this location again.

Welcome to Florence (She said sarcastically)
When we arrived in Florence, we called to notify the apartment managers, as instructed, since there is no staff on premises and the apartments are scattered throughout the city. The person who answered the phone was very discourteous. We went to the address we were given and waited for someone to arrive to let us in. The apartment was in a nice residential area and we waited at the door for some time before calling again to find out when someone would be there to let us in. We called again and were told by the same rude woman that they didn't have an apartment at that address. We read her the information on the email and she hung up on us. When we called back, she did not answer, so we called Expedia for help. (I dread to see our phone bill for the month!) Miraculously, after we spoke to someone at Expedia who assured us he would find us other accommodation, the rude person called back and said someone would be there in 15 minutes to let us into the apartment. It turns out we were in the right place after all. The young man who arrived 30 minutes later to let us in, had a bike accident on his way -- a car hit him and ruined his bike, so he walked over to help us. He could not have been nicer and apologized for being so late.
Please if you are considering stay in this hotel ,don't do it is a complete desaster the toilet is broken the unit went out of power ,the washer machine doesn't work ,an the second floor there is not mattress ,the owners never answered the phone to help me .the worst experience in my life
The apartment was amazing! The location was great and the patio/balcony area was so charming! There was a relaxing tub and plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was fully equipped with all that was needed to cook a meal at home!
Great apartment and fabulous location but 3rd floor with steep steps so need to be able to climb!! Nicolo who met us with the keys was a mind of information on everything local! Well stocked kitchen and bedrooms at the back away from the noise of the road. Great time had!
My wife and I rented this place for 2 weeks (several days of which we were traveling through other parts of Italy). I found the place to be relaxing and it offered more of a "living" experience in Florence than your usual hotel experience. The space is a flat - not a luxury hotel so if you're looking for that, this is not the place for you. There are quite a few stairs to get to the flat and it has a loft bed which would be challenging to access if you are not in reasonable physical shape. Also, there is a futon that can be used as a bed in the living area, which we preferred. There is also a decent kitchen with a good fridge, stove, pots/pans, silverware, etc. The flat is very close to the train station and in easy walking distance to most of the major sites and many good restaurants. Also, the manager who met us when we arrived was very helpful and mapped all the tourist sites and some good places to eat. In-all, we had a good experience and I would recommend to anyone who is looking for an experience that is closer to living in Florence than staying at a hotel.

Good location
Well located to get to various parts of Florence, close to centre. Stairs were a pain to go up after a long day. Nice place, upstairs bed not user friendly as too hot there
We were very disappointed with the standard of this accommodation, so much so that we chose not to stay there and were prepared to forfeit our tariff for the 2 nights which we had booked.
The pictures listed in the Expedia advertisement can be very misleading to what the accommodation actually was. The listing contains pictures of a number of apartments with a variety of types of accommodation. This apartment contained a loft bed which was totally impractical and not properly portrayed in the advertisement. There was negligible height to the ceiling and the access to the loft style bed was via a type of spiral staircase which was virtually impossible for a person of my size to access.
The apartment was rather dated, untidy and definitely overpriced. Access to it, up several flights of stairs, was also very difficult. As stated, we decided to relocate ourselves to a hotel around the corner which cost 2/3 of the price and represented a far better standard of accommodation including a free breakfast.
I have used Expedia extensively over a long period of time for both international and domestic travel. This would be the only time I have reported such issues and not stayed in the accommodation.
Expedia management were of excellent assistance in resolving this issue on our behalf when we raised it with them. However I would suggest that Expedia review the accommodation rating and provide more specific pictures and detail on the various apartments which are listed.
