Nice apartment! Lots of space. Silly us thought 1st floor was the bottom floor. So, we had to climb up 47 steps daily which after a day of climbing stars within the city it was the cherry on top! But again, our misunderstanding. There were 3 of us and we were in Florence for 5 days. We were only left with 1.5 rolls of toilet paper. Watered down dish soap that was almost empty. No kitchen towels to dry dishes. No TV remote, a hair dryer and iron that didn't work. The shower drain was very slow. The single bed really needs to be replaced. It was very uncomfortable. We ask for more toilet paper but ended up just buying it ourselves. We've stayed at another VRBO for 6 days and we had plenty of toilet paper and kitchen towels and they offered to replace our bath towels!(which we really appreciated)Location was excellent! San Croce is around the corner. Laundromat is just down the block if you want a dryer! Grocery store is very close by as well.
Our overall experience was fine. The apartment was clean and the basics provided. Angela met us at the apartment to let us in and show us the space. Alejandro was supposed to come for check out and we waited for a short time and then had to leave the keys and go.
My review is all positive. The apartment was clean and spacious and exactly what we expected from the VRBO description. Sibila greeted us when we checked in and answered all of our questions. Both the check-in and check-out processes were seamless and easy. Will definitely look for this apartment again the next time we travel to Florence.
This apartment was in a great location, within walking distance to the main attractions in Florence. Be mindful, if you have tall people in your group, the doorways are pretty low. I ended up bonking my head, trying to get out of the bathroom during the night. Otherwise, the host met with us to check us into the apartment, and it was very clean. I would stay here again.
