We had a wonderful experience at hotel Calimala. The building and rooms are gorgeous and reflect Florence’s beauty. Above all, the staff were amazing and ensured we had a wonderful stay.

The location is absolutely the best! The hotel is awesome, clean and very cute. The only problem I had was during check in, I gave my information 3 times including handing my passport & Expedia’s confirmation, the lady in the front desk KEPT saying I had no reservation there, she couldn’t find my reservation and started to look weird to me, instead of her saying: “give me one minute” and checked enough before talking back to me she made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed in front of everybody repeating several times I had no reservation there. At the end i sat down and started to try to solve the issue by contacting Expedia, when someone else stepped in and found my reservation. Definitely should instruct better front desk people.
