Beautiful and spacious apartment for rent in Florence, located a stone's throw from the Basilica of Santo Spirito, Palazzo Pitti and the splendid Florentine Arno river. The apartment has been completely renovated recently, with great care being able to combine very well modern details and furnishings with the typical elements of Florentine houses, starting with the terracotta floors.

Here you can spend a truly pleasant stay fully enjoying all the beauties that Florence has to offer. The house consists of a bright living area divided between the living room and the kitchen and two double bedrooms with private bathroom. In practice you will have two real suites at your disposal. From its windows you can enjoy an extraordinary view of the Basilica of Santo Spirito and the square.

The apartment can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 people (there is a sofa bed in the living room), and is equipped with a lift, air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet, TV, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and everything needed for cooked. We are sure, here you will have a truly memorable stay.

WiFi worked really well. We visited every bar and restaurant in the square of Santo Espirito and enjoyed all of them. A wonderful location also to visit Ponte Vecchio and the downtown area. Cabs were hard to locate and obtain but we learned to use a hotel near the Ponte Vecchio to make a call and they were prompt.

I never write negative reviews but....

My husband and I run a small business in a very popular tourist destination in Florida. I am well-aware of people's high expectations when on vacation. I also know, very well, how easily things can go wrong. When I travel, I always take this experience, understanding and patience with me. For reasons beyond our control, we needed to extend our stay by two days. The rental was available but the property management company insisted on treating the extension as a separate booking charging us for an additional cleaning service. Not only was this an unwarranted expense but the cleaning crew showed up at 7am and let themselves in while we were still asleep. There were not enough bed linens nor enough towels. But worse was the condition of the stained bed spread/linens/towels provided. The bathroom drains constantly clogged, The front door lock did not work and every night at around 10pm, there was continuous loud noise from the apartment above us. The minimum most people expect from a vacation rental is a sense of security, clean towels and bed linens, a functioning bathroom and a good night sleep. Unfortunately, this rental provided none of these and all my attempts to contact the property management company about these issues were either met with rudeness, complete disinterest or just an inability to do the job. I'm sure the owners would be mortified to know their investment is being handled with such incompetence.

Terrible

While the unit looks roughly like the pictures, it is in very poor condition. There were mosquitoes, despite the windows never being opened, drains don’t work, one of the sinks is virtually falling over. There are outlets hanging out of the wall. It’s in poor condition. You can also hear everything, especially the upstairs neighbor moving their chairs around right over the bedroom. We checked out early because it was so bad we didn’t want to stay there any longer with our family.

Nice option

This apt has a very interesting vibe. The brick floors give the space a rustic look but the kitchen and bathrooms are both nicely renovated in a more modern style. The kitchen has all cooking necessities and the host provides some toiletries. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. The host is very responsive. There is an elevator but note that it is quite small as are many in florence. 2 people could fit in close quarters or 1 person and a regular suitcase. The elevator needs to be called with a key. Otherwise the apt is up 3 long flights of stairs. The piazza near the apt is a happening place with restaurants and there is a grocery store and some markets nearby. Its a pretty short walk to ponte vecchio.

Nice apartment; great location

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Very spacious for 2 bedrooms & 2 baths. Nice, updated bathrooms. There was a musty smell in master BR & BA, which could be easily addressed with oil diffusers. Perfect location for easy access to the Florence historic area.

Great place; great location

Oscar, the property contact, was amazing. He helped with our bags, checked us in and helped secure us parking in a garage just down the street. Good not beat the location. A lot of activity in the Santo Spirito plaza and minutes away from all the attractions. Wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely look at this place to come back to in the future.

Great location, nice property

This place was great to stay, very nice location and close to a lot of happening places or places to visit. A lot of places are just walkable. 1 thing that we didnt really like is there were issues with the Air conditioning (AC's) while we stayed there. It was really hot when we stayed there, temperatures in the high 30's Celsius. The kids were very uncomfortable due to that. The owner did send someone to fix it and the person took 4+ hours, and it still wasnt fixed. Overall good place, if the electricity issue is figured out.

Fantastic location - easy walking distance to everything in Florence!

Apartment is located just across the river from all of the big tourist destinations - a 5 minute walk and you’re in the heart of things! Communication with the management company was easy, including having someone at the apartment meet us to check in. The square right nearby was hopping at night!

Santo Spirito great spot

location is great, next to the plaza with lots of good bars, restaurant's, and markets. Only a block or so from the Boboli Gardens and 5 to 10 minute walk to Duomo. The keys are a little tricky, they work but you have to jiggle them for a bit. The apt was great for for my wife and I and our 2 adult children. AC worked great, and the washer/dryer helped us in the hot weather .. loved it
