 Outstanding Stay

The Uffizi Suite was perfect for the three adult couples in our family and the location is really hard to beat. Light & bright atmosphere with large rooms. Serena is a warm, engaging, attentive and considerate host. From the entire process of booking (many months ago) and throughout our stay, she stayed engaged with us offering suggestions to enhance our visit to the region.

Our experience at this location was excellent. Serena the host made sure we had everything we needed plus more. The kitchen was stocked with snacks, drinks and candy. She even brought us pastries one day. All the rooms are spacious and the whole place was very clean. Big bonus was the washer and dryer.

Amazing Host and Location

I have stayed at many VRBO rentals in the past but I have to say Serena is the best host I have had the pleasure of staying with. Serena and her son actually met us at check-in and assisted getting our luggage into the apartment. Everything was very clean and there were nice little things to make our stay even better. She was extremely responsive to any requests for suggestions. The location is perfect and walking distance to pretty much everything. I couldn't recommend this any more. Thank you Serena!

Great Place minus the NightClub next door

Serena was one of the best hosts I have worked with. She was present for check-in, answered all of our questions, left us some food and tea/coffee, and was very excited about the rental. The place was very clean and the flat was very comfortable. Unfortunately, all that was trumped by the nightclub (that no other reviewer mentioned) that was two doors down. And it wasn't just an ordinary nightclub that goes from 10PM to 2AM. No. This nightclub opened at midnight and went until 5AM. And as we all know, if a club ends at 5AM, the crowd will congregate out front for at least another 30 minutes. As a result of the Blob Club, I did not get any sleep at all for the 3 nights staying in this flat. It's easy to put pillows over heads to not have to hear the music being blasted, but because Blob Club was so close to the flat, the entire building was shaking. You can feel every single ounce of bass coming from the club. I actually got out bed at 4:15AM and walked the street to confirm where the music was coming from the 2nd night. there. It was so loud. I was hoping to attach that video to this review, but it won't let me. Bottom line: Great host, great location in the city, great accommodations, but you will not get any sleep if you book this place.

Florence gem!

This place is amazing and Serena is such a wonderful host! We arrived very exhausted and we found water, juice, coffee, candy and biscotti. We also had a very good bottle of wine and some tasty appetizers. In addition to the elaborate baskets containing a lot of goodies for our first breakfast, Serena put some delicious fresh croissants at our doorstep. Everything that we might need was well thought out and there were little touches of home everywhere. The place was sparkling clean! The attic room was unique. It even has a skylight you can open to admire the rooftops of Florence. This apartment is extremely well situated. There is even a pay parking garage next door which is convenient if you happen to have a car, though it ups the noise level on that street which is adjacent to one of the bedrooms. In general though, Florence is a vibrant and lively city, so don't expect the noise to be completely absent. But with the high quality windows closed and the AC on, it masks most of the noise. We highly recommend this place, both for the place itself and for the kindness of the host!

Amazing!

This apartment did not disappoint. Great location & very spacious and clean. The host, Serena, was so helpful prior to and during our stay. She was so thoughtful and anticipated every need. Even brought my wife a birthday surprise. We would absolutely recommend and stay here again!

Visited daughter studying aborad for semester

Serena is the ultimate host! From my first contact with her through my last, she was always friendly, helpful, and quick to respond! We were visiting Florence to see our daughter who is studying abroad her first semester at Florida State University. we surprised her with two of her friends and her sister! In preparing for the surprise, I asked Serena if she could put together a medium size, charcuterie board, and have champagne ready. When we arrived at the apartment, she had an entire table set up for the surprise. She went above and beyond and this is a trip I will remember forever! Thank you Serena!!!!
