Not bad for a budget motel, but the room prices in summer are horrible!

Signs were posted to not smoke by the rooms but there were a lot of people sitting outside in the white chairs smoking right by the doors. Rooms were dated, nothing has been uograded in decades. Very little was clean in the room. Our AC did not work at all, it was just a noisy fan. Would never stay here again.

The room I was in was awful. Microwave, TV, tap in sink, shower all had problem. How this motel passed a health inspection, does BC even check the rooms? It was dirty mold was under fresh cocking. This room needs a major reno. They even rip you off for pets, but walking into the room stains on the carpets and incredibly dirty. Towels and all soaps etc were the cheapest you could find. Bath mat was falling apart If this motel took some pride and fixed it up it could be incredible. The location is beside all the great shops and restaurants in Golden.

Budget priced. Great if you’re not picky.

Easy to access. Rooms are clean, but old. Bed was hard, but if you’re tired, you’ll be fine. Bathroom fixtures straight out of 1970, but clean. A/C didn’t work too well. Manual dials at 6 foot level. Many food options within walking distance. Price was decent for this high price area.

Very friendly and kind staff at the front desk Dated but still nice pool and sauna facility Easy and pleasant walk to restaurant, Kicking Horse River trail, and post office. Mattress on bed was good. Refrigerator also had a freezer, which was helpful The room interior was in need of updating- grubby carpet, squashed mosquitoes adhered to the wall, bed linens were clean but yellowed with age, no hair dryer, bathroom very old Acceptable place to stay for the night, but would not want to stay more than one day
