Secluded farmstay with pool and fireplace...the Guesthouse at Sunny Ridge Farm

Secluded country charm in Lancaster County near HersheyPark attractions, the guest suite is one of two rentals available on the farm. Minutes from Susquehanna River Trail, Elizabethtown College, and historic Marietta. About 25 minutes to Spooky Nook Sports and Harrisburg Airport, and a half hour to Hershey, Harrisburg, York, downtown Lancaster, Sight and Sound, and Amish Country. Suite has private entry, queen-sized bed, kitchenette and pantry, gas fireplace, private bathroom w/shower, wifi, and SmartTV,

In-ground pool, grill, and fire pit available for your use. Adjoining powder room has claw foot soaking tub.

*The guest suite is separate from but attached to the main house via a common area. Please know you might hear some crowing and other animal noises in the early morning hours!

**Rentals permitted up to three weeks at a time, per zoning regulations. Longer rentals must have at least one day vacancy every 21 days.

***Queen bed sleeps two adults. We are glad to add one child to the reservation if your family feels you'll comfortably fit. Children older than two are an extra $10/night; use of (single) air mattress is a flat rate of $15.

We are approximately 30 minutes give or take to Chocolate World and HersheyPark, Hershey Med Center, Sight & Sound, Dutch Wonderland, Strasburg, York County, and the heart of Amish Country. Harrisburg International Airport is just 22 minutes away, and Elizabethtown College is 12 minutes from us. Nissley Vineyards is two miles down the road.

Ms Emily greeted my Mother and I when we arrived. She is absolutely amazing. Loved the farm animals especially the goats. Enjoyed feeding them animal crackers every day. Was also greeted every morning by the kitties. Very peaceful and quiet place to stay. If we had a problem it was taken care of right away. Emily, Craig and their 2 daughters are absolutely truly amazing people and would do anything to make sure you are well taken care of during your stay at their farm.

We loved our stay, the property was breathtaking. We enjoyed seeing all the farm animals and feeding the goats. Emily was a terrific host and even gave us some recommendations of things to do. If we ever return to the area we would definitely book this property again.

Emily is the most gracious host! My daughter and I were in town for a farm conference and had little time at the property, but snacks and coffee, soap and shampoo were provided which was a lifesaver when we woke late the next day! We loved the cow, the cats, and the toads! You could definitely do some herping there. ;)

The property and guest suite were great. Small which is as advertised. We brought our toddler and the hosts provided an extra chair for them. They were also so sweet aboit showing us all around, even offering our toddler a chance to feed some of the animals. And us too.
