A hidden gem in Hilo! Luxurous and quiet, the inn is just steps from a great beach! We snorkeled with sea turtles and sea stars and slept to the sounds of birds and the gentle rain. Our room's kitchenette had everything we could need, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. They even had a drying rack for our wet beach things. We will defintely stay here again the next time we come to visit family!

This was a very nice place right near the beach but also tucked away amongst the greenery. Very relaxing to stay here and enjoy the sounds of nature from the balcony. The place had everything we needed and was immaculately kept.

Peaceful Getaway

Very nice inn that is located next to a park with a very accessible beach. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. Our host made sure we had everything we needed. And went out of his way to return an item I left behind.

Garden room review

Very comfortable and well cared-for lodging. Property manager was on to of everything we needed. Nice beach parks nearby- pay attention to eating recommendations from the property manager as reservations in Hilo are hard to get Overall really nice experience.

Hand carved doors, flawless marble tiled floors, impecable craftsmanship, private grounds next to the beach. Nice, quiet and friendly 'and' there was a salsa class with the owners our first night. Fun!

I really can't think of anything negative about this property. We thouroughly enjoyed ourselves and would stay here again if we return to the Big Island. Chris and Renee were gracious hosts. The room was as clean as it could be, the gardens around the house were beautiful and the close access to the beach was great. At night motion lights turn on to light the way to your room and parking is behind a locked gate which opens when you are leaving. They really thought of everything. Volcanoes National Park is a 45 minute drive. There are many good restaurants within a10 minute drive and they provide a nice summary of them when you check in. Aloha until next time.

Hidden Gem!!!

Only downside is we didn’t stay here longer! The building is right on a beach-front park and you can swim right outside. We enjoyed on site yoga and friendly staff (Renee was great!). We were on the big island only four nights rounding out the end of our honeymoon after being in Maui and Kauai. We stayed here two nights and then checked out the area of Volcano at a small inn for two nights. I honestly wish I stayed here all four nights in luxury and serenity. The building seems to have been redone recently and rooms are gorgeous with big showers and carved wood accents. Just loved it!

Surprised

This place is a hidden gem in a quiet little area surprisingly close to an industrial sector. Driving there I was questioning my choice of f property but after arriving I was pleasantly surprised. The location is tucked away but with easy, quick access to a local beach that is perfect for relaxing. The property and our room was amazing. We’ll appointed and very comfortable. The owners were friendly and responsive to our needs. I would definitely stay there again when in the Hilo area.
