What a nice stay and unique experience. We stayed in this B&B for two nights. The host served us breakfast with home made fresh fruits which is absolutely tasty. We also chatted with other guest and felt pretty relax on the huge backyard full of fruit trees. This place is located in a convenient place near hilo downtown . Highly recommend !

We loved our stay at Old Hawaiian B and B! The room was cozy and clean, the peoperty is beautiful, and the hosts are extremely welcoming. Breakfast is also a highlight - fruit from the backyard, assorted home made breads, and a hard boiled egg and yogurt. Fantastic start to the day! This is our kind of BnB - simple but everything we need, quiet and natural surroundings. The lanai is shared between the three rooms and has a small fridge, microwave, and electric kettle. Breakfast featured fruits picked from the trees on the property.

My husband and I stayed there for four nights and we had the most wonderful time there. Every morning was a different type of fresh cut fruit, mostly grown in the property and home bake goods. It was delicious! The room was small but comfortable and was exactly what we were looking for. The property and location was great too. It was a 10 minutes walk to rainbow falls and 5 minutes drive to downtown Hilo.

Great Hawaiian house with an awesome back yard

Clean, quiet and relaxing. The hosts were welcoming but more importantly they were knowledgeable of the area's sites. We felt right at home and they even packed a to-go breakfast for us. Great host great breakfast fabulous view. Very nice room. Yes the driveway is intimidating! Between the twisty road and steep drive and unfamiliar rental car I would not feel comfortable going in and out at night for dinner after dark
