4/2/25: ANNUAL Preventative Maintenance, Cleaning, & Repairs to our 6th floor Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, & Pool Deck areas. This process will require the TEMPORARY closure of the Pool/Jacuzzi deck (fenced areas) starting on Sunday, November 9th, 2025 @ 9:00 p.m. and upon completion, we will re-open on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025 @ 7:00 a.m. (weather permitting)

There were two terrible things....no fan in the bathroom and the bed was terrible. The springs in the mattress were wore out and no box spring. This made it, very uncomfortable to sleep. I loved the view and the location, but the lack of a fan and a comfortable bed, created problems.

Condo was clean and great! Amazing views. The hallways of condo need to be redone so was scared at first because the entrance is so nice and the lobby, then saw hallway and thought condo maybe the same but it wasn’t and was nicely renovated. Only issue was there was only 1 fork. Otherwise tons of towels, shampoo condition body wash hand soap provided. Dish soap as well. Would highly recommend for a couple or a family with only 1 or 2 small kids as the room is pretty small.

This unit was stunning! The view was incredible. We were mesmerized by the patio, being able to see Diamond Head/the Waikiki beach/Ala Wai canal all at the same time. We stayed in the unit for a long time and I have the view stamped into my memory. The view was relaxing making me sleepy and I did not want to leave the room even though you could see the beautiful beach below. The location is amazing because it is a short walk to the beach, a short walk to any kind of shopping experience you want, any kind of restaurant you want, and public transportation runs around the clock. The unit itself is clean, we did not see any bugs, the A/C works well, the kitchenette is functional, and it is safe with available staff on duty. The staff were extraordinarily nice/helpful/hospitality was A. The only thing to recognize is that there is a 40 per day parking fee if you have a rental car. We did public transportation and did fine. You can even walk away from Waikiki to Ala Moana Mall during daylight hours. I would not recommend walking the distance to the Ala Moana mall at night because there are homeless people in Honolulu.

Beautiful view from the balcony. Small, but clean and everything you need for overnight stays. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, so it was perfect for us.

Surfers and Volcanos

The views from the Island Colony condo were amazing. We could see surfers from the balcony and Diamond Head was front and center! It is very close to Waikiki beach, shopping, restaurants, and our tour bus pick-ups were just a couple blocks away at Ross Dress for Less. Everything we needed for a great beach day was in the condo so we only needed to grab and go. Definitely recommend this condo.

Review

We stayed on the 42nd floor so we had a pretty good view of the area. The neighbourhood is pretty convenient and it is close to all the major malls with lots of restaurant. The downside is the AC is very noisy that affected our sleep. Also there is very little outlets around the room. Overall we had a good experience.

Stay in Waikiki

The apartment was clean and it was in a great walkable location with a beautiful view of Diamond Head, golf course and the city. It was a little smaller than we thought. The bathroom was so small it was nearly impossible for 2 people to be there at the same time which wasn’t really convenient when you’re trying to get ready quicker. Unfortunately, the windows did not have protection against noise. We heard every single noise from the outside and it was especially annoying at night when we heard people yelling. Also, when it was windy outside we heard and felt it. We discovered that the windows were like glass blinds and not like regular windows and that’s why we heard every noise. We didn’t sleep a single night without interruptions. Even though everything else was great we would not stay there again because we were like zombies for our whole stay and we needed sleep to have energy to enjoy our dream vacation and discover the island.

Room with a view

Great place to stay. A short walk to Waikiki beach. Abc stores abound but also close to marketplace. Local bus stop 2 min walk. Can catch that to Walmart. Away from main bustle of downtown Waikiki, but sirens still are frequent. Easy access to hotel, pool quite nice. Local shop on pool deck which was handy. Great to come home each day and see the ocean and Diamond head. Kitchen was very extensive although compact. Had everything you need for pasta, stirfry and simple meals.
