I have stayed at almost every property in Waikiki. I would stay at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani again. The location, Restaurant and Pool were really nice. The rooms were average.

We chose this hotel because of its central location in Waikiki. Restaurants, shopping and the beach are steps away. The rooms are updated and comfortable. Breakfast was great. We spent time at the pool which is not heated and was very cold but manageable. We would have ordered drinks and food if someone would have offered it. When we decided to stay an extra night the front desk was helpful and able to keep us in the same room.

Hotel very outdated although they said the hotel was renovated??? Bathroom super small with no fan and no magnify mirror and horrible lighting. The elevator wasn’t working properly the entire time we were there. At one point we were forced to use the service elevator. The restaurant is not good at all. We waited a long time (like 2 hours) for dinner that was over-cooked and dry. Location is good. Close to everything.

Nice & Casual

The hotel overall is nice, but rooms are smaller, especially the bathroom vs. newer hotels. However, the interiors have been updated and the property has been nicely maintained. No formal dining, everything is casual, which was perfect for our visit and they are linked to other close hotels where you can dine if you choose to. We were on the 11th floor which had a decent view of the ocean and overlook the historic Moana hotel. the elevators where being services which caused an occasional delay, but was manageable with the ones not being serviced and access to the service elevator. overall, happy with our stay :)
