We had a great time at the property around New Years. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although the building is dated, it’s been kept up very well and was very clean. The pool was excellent. There was also live entertainment almost every day. Another highlight was access to some of the facilities at the Moana Surfrider across from the facility, particularly the breakfast buffet which we enjoyed quite a bit for a few days in a row. But the highlight of the visit was just being able to enjoy the beautiful Waikiki weather and ocean view from our balcony. On New Years Eve it felt like the fireworks were meant just for us, it was magical.

The room was relatively clean but I wished they did a better job dusting. The shower water pressure was weak. Otherwise, the hotel is one of my favorites in Waikiki. Great location and friendly staff. The fire alarm went off at 2am and we all had to evacuate. However it was a false alarm.

Location of this resort is amazing but the resort per se,rooms,facilities are nothing in comparison to the other resorts around. We stayed at Prince Waikīkī for the first couple of days and then came to stay at Sheraton for just one day towards the end and the kids absolutely felt the difference.Way too high priced for the service they offer .

We booked a room through Expedia 6 months ahead of time to Hawaii with our adult children for a final family trip before the spouses. We booked 2 separate rooms, one for the parents and the other room that they were sharing was to be 2 queen beds. After a long journey we checked in only to find out my children were sharing a bed and not separate beds. The hotel worker could not change rooms because they were sold out, and said because it was booked through a third party, that’s all they could do. Needless to say that isn’t how they wanted to end their vacation. Very disappointing!!

When we checked in we were informed that they were over booked. We ended with twin beds. Parking in there parking lot, total cost $140.00. The elevators for the tower we were in broke. Waiting over 30 minutes on the 17th floor with no elevator! Oh they did give us a drink coupon and waved the resort fee. But we couldn't use the coupon for drinks because there was no seating. I live in Kauai and I will never go back to this place again! I travel quite a bit for work! Never again! So disappointed!

Housekeeping was great. They were courteous and detailed. I didn't have a working fan or ac unit, as the thermostat wasn't functioning when I pressed the different buttons. That made it uncomfortable when I was so hot.
