Our stay at Waikiki Marriott Beach Resort & Spa was absolutely fantastic, and it’s a place we will most definitely return to on future trips to Oahu. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt welcoming, smooth, and genuinely hospitable. This is a large resort, but it never felt overwhelming or impersonal. Every staff member we encountered—from check-in to dining to housekeeping—was warm, friendly, and engaging, treating us like we were their first guests of the day. That level of consistent kindness really stood out and made our stay feel special. Our stay included the breakfast buffet each morning, which was honestly one of the highlights. The food was plentiful, fresh, and delicious, with something for everyone, and the service was exceptional. It felt indulgent without being stuffy, and starting each day with a relaxed, high-quality breakfast set such a positive tone for our vacation. While I didn’t make it to the spa on this visit, it’s absolutely on my list for next time. This trip was more about soaking up beach time, and the location could not have been more ideal. The resort is directly across the street from a beautiful, sandy beach, making it incredibly easy to come and go throughout the day. Guests are provided with a beach chair per person, a per person, along with access to boogie boards, which made beach days simple, fun, and stress-free. We are already talking about our return with the family . Thank you 🌺🌴❤️

⭐ Very Disappointing Experience – Would Not Return While Hawaii itself was beautiful and I truly enjoyed being on the island, my experience at this resort was incredibly disappointing and stressful. Upon arrival, I was blindsided by an unexpected $1,000 fee that was not clearly disclosed or included in my original package and had to be paid up front at the resort. This was extremely frustrating and put a negative tone on the entire stay from the start. To make matters worse, parking cost $65 per day, which is absolutely excessive and felt unreasonable, especially given the already high overall cost of staying at the resort. The check-in experience only added to the frustration. The woman who checked me in was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. She provided little to no information about the resort, its amenities, or anything I needed to know as a guest. I was left completely clueless and had to figure everything out on my own, which is not what you expect from a resort that charges premium prices. While I loved exploring Hawaii itself, I will never stay at this resort again. Between the hidden fees, outrageous parking costs, and poor customer service, the experience simply wasn’t worth it. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you want a smooth, welcoming, and transparent stay.

The room had a used diaper hidden above the ironing board for the first two days also a pubic hair on the wall against the shower when we got there. the area around the spa was wet and slippery where my wife injured herself. There was alot of hidden fees. was not aware of the resort fee and there is also parking fees as well that our friends had to pay for.

I had a fabulous stay!!! My new Oahu hotel. The resort fee is totally worth it with all the activities included. I made a lei and learned some Tai Chi. My room was lovely, clean, comfortable and quiet. Parking is steep. I choice self parking which was only $10 cheaper than Valet😳. Parking in Waikiki is a whole vibe 😂. Oh and the hotel smelled amazing! I would love to bottle that scent and take it home.
