For more years than I can count, when we come to Waikiki, we always stay at this Marriott and we have always loved it. This time we were notified 4 days before our arrival that there would be ongoing construction taking place and there could be some noise. 4 days. Not enough time to find comparable accommodations. There is no way Marriott did not know that there would be this construction months before our arrival. It was a planned project. Needless to say- it was loud- so loud. M-F. I am disappointed in Marriott that we were not advised sooner. In addition, our check in staff members were not friendly or very helpful. Most other employees at the hotel were friendly. Again after a long day of travel that was unexpected and disappointing.

I loved starting each day seeing the ocean and ending my day with a beautiful sunset. The room was lovely, bed most comfortable, I would most definitely stay again.
