The Pinnacle is an extraordinary entertainer dream home set high in the San Jacinto Mountains in the artsy/music town of Idyllwild. Drive up your private driveway and prepare to be "wowed" by the incredible "Lily Rock" views and the beautiful untouched forest. You will feel inspired and relaxed as if you could touch the sky from one of (3) view decks and a master bath with your sunken tub. You will be greeted by not one but two beautiful waterfall features cascading from the hillside of your private fenced yard. Enter the leaded glass front door, and you will be drawn to the floor-to-ceiling windows framing the living room with high wood ceilings, a rock fireplace, and abundant natural light. This 4000 square foot home has plenty of room for the home group! The Pinnacle is perfect for those seeking top-of-the-line luxury.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING:

Streaming services are available, but guests must log in using their accounts.
This vacation rental is equipped with air-conditioning.

-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations are Allowed for November, December, and January

- Pets: We do allow dogs, however, please note that there is a fee of $35 per dog per night. If you plan to bring more than one dog, you must obtain prior approval and additional fees may apply. When booking through selected third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a payment request for the dog fee, which should be paid separately.

Check-in instructions: We will email you a confirmation of your stay, providing you with the address to the home, our office, and the office number. Please check your spam folder. On the day of your arrival, you will receive a text or email with details on obtaining the key.

Parking: Free parking is available for 5 vehicles (Seasonal Restrictions Apply; chains are recommended in winter, and 4X4 is HIGHLY Recommended).

- Outdoor lighting: Please note that outdoor lighting must comply with Riverside County regulations and must not blink, flash, or rotate. Guests will be liable for any "light trespass" on surrounding properties.

- County permit number: 003022

- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.

- Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2: We no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21 years of age.

- Seasonal wood delivery: There is a $25 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces) if available. Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.

- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.

- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.

Guests booking this home under the age of 25 years of age will provide an additional insurance for $70.00 non-refundable on the day of arrival.

The hosts were responsive and asked us for feedback at the end of our stay. We didn't need to contact them for anything urgent while we were there.Short walk into town, quiet area. The driveway is EXTREMELY steep, but you can also park on the street and walk up.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat with Scenic Views and Great Amenities

Our group had an amazing stay at this property! The check-in process was super easy, and the property itself was beautiful and well-maintained. We especially loved the hot tub and the stunning scenic views of the mountains from the decks—it made for a truly relaxing experience. The location, layout of the house, and amenities are exactly as described on the site. The house and surrounding land was clean and well maintained. Although the driveway is steep, it was easy to navigate; definitely recommend turning around at the top so as to make the departure easier. I appreciated the prompt response by the property manager about check in, check out, and the one time we had to call (we asked to have the trash removed as we filled the outside garbage cans before our check out date.) The town of Idyllwild itself was fantastic; there’s a lot to do in the immediate neighborhood of the house, including hiking, shopping, fishing on Hemet Lake, enjoying the delicious restaurants (Atomic Cow and Idyllwild Pizza were our faves), and pottery painting at Earth Fire. Overall, it was a fun and relaxing vacation with extended family. Highly recommend!

They have a beautiful waterfall in the backyard and stunning views from every level of the outdoor deck. Driveway is very steep but as soon as we figured out going down backwards was a bad idea everything was much easier! We would love to stay here again in the future!

The house was very spacious and had incredibly beautiful views! We loved the large windows, bright natural light and breathtaking views! The kitchen was clean and the appliances worked well. The property manager answered all calls/texts and was responsive to our inquiries even after we arrived! The dining room table was large worked well for our group of 10. There were plenty of beds for us as well. The living room had a large couch and lots of seating for our large group. The cabin was clean, although some of the rugs and indoor/outdoor furniture were a bit tired. The location was great! It was very private, yet close to town and nearby trails. We drove to Humbar park and hiked the Ernie Maxwell Trail which was so beautiful. It was an easy/moderate hike and was pet friendly. We had a wonderful time!

Wonderful Time

Rented the property to celebrate a birthday. The property comfortably fit our entire party. The location was amazaing with amazing views of the mountains. The home itself is very private. The front garden fountain area is fully fenced and very peaceful. The property managment was great. They fixed any minor issue we had, and were generally unobtrusive.This location was amazing and would 100% book this again

Great for group

We had 4 families with young kids and everyone had plenty of space. Good communication with the property manager and amazing views from the porch. Really enjoyed our stay. Only thing that could use improvement is some of the furniture was kind of worn out. Also there were lots of rugs with curled up edges that would be a pretty bad tripping hazard for older folks.

Great Weekend Getaway!

We arrived on a Friday and it had snowed that day. It was beautiful! We couldn't check in until 4:00 which was a bummer but we hung out in town until the VRBO was ready. The VRBO is close to town so it was easy to wlak to into town. The home is big and very spacious. The elevator was very helpful for moving our stuff to the second floor. The kitchen was nicely stocked with all the amenites. We really enjoyed our stay & want to come back in the summer.

Girls get away weekend

There were 6 of us on the first night and 8 of us the next night and it was an absolute BLAST. Everyone had their own bed and most of us had their own room. What a luxury! The views were stunning. The kitchen was very well stocked which we used a lot! It was really easy to pick up and drop off the keys and people in the office were quick to respond to my questions and concerns despite me struggling to get the paperwork to them on time (I was working overtime the week prior and had no access to a printer or scanner). I will absolutely book with them again in the future.

Beautiful Stay!

Max 5 cars allowed on the property which made it incredibly difficult for 16 people to spend the night and move around for our wedding. Had a bad experience with our initial conversation with property management. We had ask to talk with the property manager numerous times and were ignored on that request. Outside of those two issues the property was beautiful and a great place to host our wedding party!

This could be an exceptional place with more TLC but...

The pluses: Gorgeous views and a great location. Bright and cheery spaces. Comfortable large beds for all. Nicely furnished common room and well-appointed kitchen. The elevator was a huge plus for a mobility challenged elder, and the hot tub was very nice after hiking. Sinks, ovens, and stovetop were fine for meal prep. The ping pong table saw some friendly competition. The minuses: if you don't think mice are cute, this is not the house for you. The house is riddled with them as demonstrated by the droppings that appear overnight, the pitter patter of races in the walls overnight, the bright-eyed pinyon mouse who peeps out from behind the TV periodically, the frantic efforts of the one caught in a live trap hidden in my room, and the smell of decay from a downstairs storage space that must also be filled with traps and their victims. The appliances need attending to: dishwasher was impossible to load and run properly until we found rack wheels in a drawer and fixed it ourselves. The dryer took multiple cycles to dry even a small load. The freezer constantly leaked cold water on the floor. The decorative outdoor stream doesn't work (leaks through the liner) and there is an underground beehive across from the front door. All that said, we are patient people and we had an excellent visit together. Please fix these items so others can enjoy the Pinnacle too.
