This property requires a $400 incidental damages deposit if you have a local address on your driver’s license. This is not disclosed when booking and I booked a non refundable room. I booked the room for a relative who came into town for the holidays so we had no choice but to put down the deposit or lose the room. I think the staff were counting on me not being able to put down the deposit because they seemed surprised that I was able to and also refused to explain why they required such a large deposit (although I know it’s because they do it to discourage locals from renting rooms and trashing them). The pool is not heated - it was freezing cold water (unusable in the winter). The rooms are small and no extra space to put luggage. We won’t book this hotel again.

Never received a $125 deposit I made on my room. My room was left immaculate and i checked out a day early. I spent very little time at the hotel as I was visiting family in the Jackson, MI area. I currently reside in Florida.

A $400 deposit because I’m a resident was required. There was a hockey event and children were playing hockey in the hallway hitting doors with the puck. Two doors down from me were two big dogs and very aggressive that bark and hit the door and extremely loud everytime someone walked by. I’m sure that these people were from out of town so to experience such a low level experience and charged a 400 deposit and not to mention the free breakfast was gravy and a few bagels was thumbs down in which I was up at 8:00 am and left early due to the nonsense of the night. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel ever

The shower had little hairs in it still, it was quite loud throughout the night with dogs barking and someone puking next door, and the breakfast bar in the morning had most of the things out of order and the rest was a horrible selection.
