The room was clean and updated, but the bathroom was lacking an update and felt antiquated. Smoking areas had no ashtrays and water coolers had no cups. No overnight service if you need anything after office hours.

Only downside to this property is no restaurant or bar or access to any food. Rooms have full kitchens but it’s a hike to get any beverages or food. Next time I will know to stock an extra suitcase with drinks and snacks to enjoy while on property.

This was absolutely the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in. Our room was secluded and clean. The hotel garden area was stunning and teeming with life. I so appreciated the cold, purified water dispenser out in the garden, probably my favorite amenity. Our room also had a hammock on the balcony. This was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon.

Great experience. Hotel is in an ideal location. Easy to walk to so much! Food, convenience store, bakery, Italian restaurant, the marina, coffee shops etc. The garden is lush. The koi pond is such a lovely tropical touch. There is a great patio area with shade and beautiful plants. We checked in late, after the desk closed, and it was still seamless. Housekeeping services were timely and attentive. I loved our suite. It was on the third floor (no elevator). The private patio was so nice to enjoy our morning coffee on. Good seating. The AC in our suite worked great, but was pretty loud. Fans in the bedroom was really nice. Overall great stay. Would recommend. Would stay again

Great guest house near Duval street

Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Key West. In a nice quiet area but within walking distance to all the bars and restaurants. The staff were friendly and kind. Very spacious and comfortable accommodation. Nice gardens with a pool. Bikes to rent.

Great property located near lots of dining options, entertainment and fun things to do. Office staff are eager to help you make your visit as enjoyable as possible. Lovely grounds, lush landscaping and plenty of space to relax and just take in this beautiful tropic setting. The suite we had was spacious and tastefully decorated. Definitely going back again, hopefully soon!

The Island City House is an absolutely wonderful property. My family has been coming here for almost 40 years and we have never been disappointed. The accommodations are all very unique each one has it’s own character. The grounds are impeccable and very relaxing, and the pool a refreshing oasis. The staff is so friendly, fun and welcoming. We were late arrivals, but found our key and welcoming information exactly where it was supposed to be. The housekeeping staff is very accommodating and the rooms very clean as is all of the property. As a cat lover, it was great to see Bert, the Island City cat again. He’s 15 now and is still enjoying life at the hotel. Thank you Island City House for a wonderful stay :)
