Hotel was decent and nicely designed rooms. Only issue i had wasnt with the hotel so much as yamato transports QR code taking their number and shipping luggage to a different Randor hotel in Kyoto ( i believe there was 3).

Clean, everything worked, hotel provided iron and table, hair dryer, tooth brush, razor, towels and even laundry detergent. Roomy with 2 toilets. Bed comfy, close to transportation 12 min to metro, would stay again.

This was a last minute trip. The place was fine… safe, clean, convenient and easy. You’re pretty much left to fend for yourself so plan your dive n dive your plan.

Comfortable beds, a good sized room for our family of 4. Close to a couple of supermarkets which was very convenient. Dryer did not seem to work however our clothes dried quickly on hangers in our room.

This hotel is situated in an excellent spot for walking and catching buses all over the place. There is a supermarket minutes away as well as lots of delicious local restaurants.

The check-in process was easy. The place is safe for travelers. There was enough toiletries supply. However, the AC was noisy and the owner gave us instructions to troubleshoot which we are not comfortable doing. The dryer machine were not drying our clothes. We stayed late trying to make our clothes dry until we gave up and just hang them to dry. Overall, it was a good stay but could have been better.

The first floor room we had first has a strong cigarette smell since the smoking room is on the same floor and actually just right across. The second room we moved to was on the second floor which was a lot better. Second room wasnt ready until next day so i was a little stressed about the smell since I have a 2 year old with me. But staff communicated quickly and was helpful. We were supposed to throw trash out front but no signs to trash. The area we thought was trash said staff only. Theres no hooks for towels around sinks and the towel holders to bath are inside bathing area. The beds weren't the best as well. We did like the soaps and the room especially the tatami area. The ventilation was very good. We were able to airdry our clothing overnight.

Room was great - free laundry a real bonus. Wasn’t aware (didn’t read thoroughly) that there would be no front desk staff at ANY time. Didn’t get codes to enter building or room until after we called and spoke to someone. Used futon bed in room rather than reg bed only to find a note Saying that we would be charged extra for linens for futon since there was only 2 people staying in room. Overall - great value, room was super clean, grocery store across the street, walking distance to Nijo Castle, easy access to transportation. Would recommend- just READ all the info in advance so you understand exactly what a residence hotel is!

Bus stop is 5 minutes walk from the property and adult fare is standard where ever you go around the area. Nijo castle is only 7 minutes walk, Nijo-jo subway station is 8-10 minutes walk, and only 2 minutes walk to the closest grocery store. I like how each guest have their own bed and there's 2 restroom that is separate from one another, which is good for a party of 6 people. No issue with asking a set of fresh new towels when staff is around in the morning. Wahers and dryers available at 1st floor for everyone to share.
