Bedroom Details:
Otter Place sleeps up to 10 guests. There are a total of 4 bedrooms; Three bedrooms are located on the upper floor and one on the lower floor. The Master bedroom located on the upper floor is eloquently laid out with a with a en-suite master bathroom.

Each bedroom contains either closets or drawers as well as luggage racks for you to unpack your belongings. Each lovely bedroom has warm, stylish colors, and elegant décor for a luxurious stay. The beds are comfortable and inviting for a restful night sleep under beautiful, warm quilts. Extra pillows are on the beds for your enjoyment and spare blankets are available if needed. All bedding, linens and towels are included.

The lower floor bedroom features a studio type open floor plan. The bedroom just like the other bedrooms has stylish colors and décor featuring a king size hotel grade bed, 65" Smart TV that provides access to streaming services and HDMI Connector for gaming and surround sound.

Ceiling fans are in each of the upstairs bedrooms and living room to enable greater air circulation. For your comfort, we will provide A/C in the upstairs bedrooms and living room during the summer season. The lower-level room is comfortably cool throughout the summer months.

All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling lights as well as side table lamps that offer a softer glow for watching TV or relaxing. Each bedroom features 4K resolution televisions with Apple TV’s which allow you to watch YouTube TV stream movies, shows, and channels from major streaming providers or choose from thousands of other free and paid streaming channels.

Bathroom Details:
Bathrooms in our amazing home as well as the entire home are spotlessly clean and comfortable. In total, there are two full bathrooms on the upper floor (which includes the master bath) plus one 1/2 bathroom on the main floor at Otter Place. Just like our bedrooms each bathroom is impeccable and tastefully designed.

The full bathrooms feature large mirrors and lovely vanity with space to store your belongings. Each has a combination bath/shower and an available hairdryer for your convenience. The half bathroom contains a mirrored medicine cabinet and vanity with storage and hairdryer.

There are ceiling lights and lights over the sink in all bathrooms. Bathrooms have lovely stone or tile flooring with elegant fixtures that are simple to use. There is ample water pressure and lighting in each bathroom. We think you'll find each one immaculate and tasteful.

Living Room / Dining Room details:
The open plan living room/kitchen at Otter Place is the perfect place for entertaining and spending quality time with family and friends. The living area features comfortable couches, 55" Smart TV to access streaming services and HDMI Connector for gaming, basic cable channels, surround sound, easy-on gas fireplace with wood mantel and tasteful lighting.

The adjoining dining room contains a chandelier and 6-person table that may be expanded by adding the available leaves to accommodate extra people. French doors lead to the back patio and garden. We invite you to soak in the relaxing hot tub, perfect for rejuvenating sore muscles and enjoying the clear Adirondack sky!

Kitchen Details:
Our kitchen is a chef's dream! With expansive granite counter tops and large island, generous electric stove, spacious stainless-steel refrigerator and full complement of tools and appliances, you'll enjoy preparing fantastic meals for your entire crew! Chairs around the dining table (expandable to provide extra seating) enable your group to eat and gather all together while wooden stools at the kitchen island provide additional, casual seating.

Outdoor Living:
The outdoor living space at Otter Place is sure to please with fantastic amenities to help you maximize your vacation enjoyment. French doors in the dining room lead to a spacious patio surrounded by garden. The patio features stone pavers, 5-person hot tub, dining table with seating for 8 plus rocking chair and small side table. We invite you to use the available Charcoal Grill for barbequing.

Laundry Details:
A full-size Whirlpool washing machine and dryer are also located on the lower level for your convenience.

Supplies Details:
The following items are minimally supplied (only enough to get you started): toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher, laundry, and bath soap. Linens are provided, including bedsheets, washcloths, and bath towels, to use during your stay. We do not supply kitchen spices, condiments, beach towels, shampoo, body soaps, or charcoal.

Parking Details:
The Otter Way Place is able to accommodate no more then 4 vehicles. The house has a two car heated garage. Two mid-size vehicles can easily park in the garage and two on the driveway. There is no street parking allowed.

Cleaning Details:
We take strict Covid-19 measures and ensure that Otter Place is kept meticulously clean.

Location Details:
The location of Otter Place is ideal for couples, families, friends, athletes, adventurers, nature lovers, shoppers, foodies and everyone else! You’ll delight in the home’s close proximity to Main Street, shopping, restaurants, the Olympic Center, Lake Placid and Mirror Lake – complete with boat launch, public beach, tennis courts, and playground -- as well as Whiteface Mountain Resort.

The home is situated just 8-miles from Whiteface and steps from hiking trails that vary from relaxed walking/beginner trails to hard climbs/expert trails. Be sure to hike Cobble Hill, located right in town on the shore of Mirror Lake. It’s a great hike for beginners and the summit offers excellent views of Lake Placid Village and the High Peaks. Also check out the trail that goes to Lake Placid, behind the old Howard Johnson’s (now Dack Shack), and the trail off Military Road which has excellent views of town, called Henry’s trail. Also close by and well worth a visit are the Jack Rabbit Trails, Paul Smiths trails and Mount Van Hoevenberg for hiking, cross country skiing, bobsled run, and horseback riding. Don’t forget John Brown Farm along with dozens of other outstanding walks and hikes.

A charming, all season resort town, Lake Placid boasts a Main Street; unique, locally owned gift shops; dozens of dining options; sporting and cultural events, movie theatre, mini golf, and a waterfront park where live music is featured weekly during summer. Beautiful Mirror Lake is a gem with its public beach, tennis courts, and playground. Lake Placid also has supermarkets, delis, ice cream parlors, quaint shops, and loads of conveniences.

Whiteface Mountain has over 283 acres of skiable terrain, 86 trails, 11 lifts and the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies! It features diverse terrain for beginner skiers and snowboarders, expert glades, and slides for the advanced and loads of trails for everyone in between. The longest run is the 2.1 mile 'Wilmington Trail' and total skiing/boarding stretches over 22 miles. Whiteface Mountain is truly fun for everyone! In summer, Whiteface offers splendid views, gondola rides, mountain biking, 4x4 expeditions, extreme tubing and more.
