Beautiful single-family house building from 1840
Located in the small village of Lampeter, this newly renovated home with original hard wood floors will warmly welcome you to Amish Country in Lancaster County. Decorated with local artwork and decor and conveniently located within 5 miles of Sight and Sound Theater, American Music Theater, Strasburg Rail Road, Rockvale Square and Tanger Outlets and the country's oldest continuously operated farmers market, Lancaster Central Market.
We loved staying at the house. It was our second time however there is a housing development going in across the street and it is loud and busy starting at 6 am. Would probably stay there again after the building is complete. Front bedrooms are a bit loud all day and early am but late night it seems toquiet down in the middle of night.
It was a lovely place, clean and tidy. Everything was great, and we would gladly stay here again. Ample parking, as we had trailers for our motorcycles.
We have a granddaughter with special needs. Hotels do not work well for her. This was our first time staying at an airb&b. It was fantastic for us. Plenty of space and beds.
We actually liked not having a TV in every bedroom. There was one in living room and one in master bedroom. We thoroughly enjoyed the back deck.
Very beautiful older updated home! Has plenty of room for all of us, My daughter her husband and 2 babies and my son in law's mother, and
Myself. We traveled from Arkansas to see my son in laws mother and all his kin. We had a Great stay. The beds were too hard but everything was really nice! Would totally recommend this place!
We took a trip to Lancaster with 4 couples and this place was perfect. The house is great, the location is perfect and everything was as pictured and described on VRBO. Would and will stay here again.
Our son was being married at the Doubletree Hilton and we chose this spot for our family to gather. It was wonderful to be only 7-8 minutes from the venue. The house served our needs well with the number of beds. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for our two year old granddaughter and her parents. We were even able to enjoy a morning breakfast with the sun on the deck with some friends the day after the wedding. The host was responsive and we had no issues with our stay.
We loved our stay at this property. House was large allowing everyone to have our own room. Very clean and well stocked. Very comfortable beds. Great location close to everything we wanted to do. Owners responded quickly to any questions. Some rooms did have some road noise but not enough to keep us from renting again. We are planning on renting the house again for our next visit. We were very happy with our choice to rent this property.
This was our first time using VRBO and the property certainly exceeded our expectations. Everything was very clean. Linens were well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. It was just like staying at home.
Would recommend this house for your visit to Lancaster. Large, nicely furnished, and clean. A group of six adults stayed while in town for a wedding, and everyone liked the house. A nice kitchen and an awesome dining table allowed for relaxing mornings. There is a nice deck in back.
The house was adequate and fairly well supplied. There is definite street noise which was even present in the rear bedrooms which interrupted our sleep very very often and will prevent us from returning there. It improved on the weekend when there were fewer trucks.
FYI. The owner includes in their rules âno alcoholâ.
The home was a perfect match for us on our mini getaway for wifeâs birthday. The home was clean and well supplied for the stay and close to shopping attractions that the misses wanted.
Clean rooms, comfortable beds, well stocked linens and ample kitchen supplies combined with classic lovely decor made for a great visit to Lancaster. I appreciated the generous selection of glasses, dishes, silverware, serving and cooking pieces which made it easy for my family to feel at home here. We loved being able to walk to Lampeter Cafe for some meals (delish!!!) and Turkey Hill for convenience store shopping. Thanks for a great visit!
