Great Stay

Friendly staff, clean, spacious room, standard self-serve breakfast. We stayed at Spooky Nook during a volleyball tournament. It was a quick, easy drive.

At first glance clean but the jetted tub had lots of hair and dust in it. The coffee maker didn’t work and the bed had craters in it from use. The sofa bed was ancient and practically swallowed up its single sleeper if they were too close to top.

The place was in a relaxed environment and we loved the jetted tub in our room. Downside was the bed desperately needs the mattress replaced. The body divet had us rolled into the hole and not very comfy. Service was good and it was very clean.

Dusappointing

Expensive, especially weekends, for modest motel with poor breakfast, no fresh fruit, and no hot water one morning. Had to let it run 28 min one night to get it when it is 29 degrees outside. Had no choice as it was closest place to my brother who just had heart attack and need to help get his house in better shape.

Nice, clean pleasant hotel stay

Stayed for a volleyball tournament at Spooky Nook, about a 8min drive. Pleased with hotel- staff was nice, room clean, beds comfy, breakfast included. Served breakfast an hour early for girls leaving early for tournament, very cool of them. Only disappointment was the hot water took a while to heat up because it was recently worked on. Other then that- great stay!

Old. Room temperature was very hard to balance — very hot or very cold. Very old room temperature machine which was extremely loud. Disturbed sleeping. Breakfast was bad. Things were out and not repleted. “Hard boiled” eggs were not boiled at all — literally raw, runny yolks. No new toilet paper. Old roll left on. Left a lot to be desired for the price we paid.

Decent hotel - off the beaten path - But worst nights sleep ever - the bed had some kind of topper under the sheet that made it SO hot. The shower floor was super slippery. But room was super spacious and front desk staff was very nice.

Old furniture, linoleum floor, just a depressing place. Trashy breakfast. I know you want to take advantage of volleyball players just like the organizers profit from them, but if there's a God, you and they will rot in hell.
