Decent location, ok staff, ok room

Good location for near instant access to the tube. Really appreciated the staff letting us check in early after a long flight. The lady who checked us in was welcoming and great. Had one incident with the staff when I asked for an extra pillow. They made excuses about how no housekeeping staff was available. Then asked me to explain why I needed another pillow. It was ridiculous. They promised to deliver it in the morning and of course never did. That will be my lasting impression. The late night room service menu is a joke. 4x items. All unappetizing. The rooftop bar is very cool. But beware it turns into a night club after hours. Room was ok. Starting to get a little worn. Bathroom seemed newer and was very nice. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again, will look for a better spot next time.

The property was very nice. The room was also nice, but a bit small for 2 peoples. The only other downsides to the room was the air didn't get cool enough and the water pressure was bad in the shower.

We are a couple just stayed overnight to recover from flight from West Coast of US. Although compact, lots of great features, beautiful room with many small but important details. We were given a corner room with an awesome view. Bed was magnificent. Air conditioning as likewise great. We didn't use the restaurant or lounge, but both looked great. Location next to Aldgate Station was ideal. It was a perfect stay.

Lovely hotel and clean. I messaged the hotel before staying but didn’t get a reply. At check in, we tried to check in early and I was told that I would get a text when the room was ready. Unfortunately that didn’t arrive. Room and breakfast was good. Shame about the fine details.

This property was a great property, however, the staff at the front desk was so rude and disrespectful. They weren’t friendly at all. They barely wanted to help people, and I would never go back to this hotel, simply because of the staff.

Really lovely hotel in the perfect location reception staff were lovely. unfortunately the roof terrace is not great not aimed at the hotel guests an it seems to be aimed at the young and beautiful 😊 and the drinks are ridiculously expensive however there is a good pub across the road would stay there again
