For one night, this place was perfectly situated near Paddington Station. Great staff. Quiet street, even with the window opened. I was surprised by the large breakfast which comes with your room rate. I would definitely stay here again.

To call this property dated would be overly exaggerating and modestly underestimating its true condition. The mattress was clearly circa 1960s and closer to the beginning of the decade. I am sure every form of bed bug extermination has been tested on this chemically stained relic; however, I did like the clean white linen hiding these past scientific research. Cleaning staff though were excellent when not working in the kitchen. So much more to list and yet I suggest it’s time to shut down and gut the past, and start anew with more that just clean mattresses.

I liked the property firstly because of central location. There good restaurants, supermarkets around the hotel. Also there is great public transport, trains, underground and buses. The hotel also provided lovely breakfast. Our room was clean, available on time and staff was brilliant. This was a second booking with them. Will definitely book if staying in Paddington

We very much appreciated the front desk staff getting us into our room early. They also stored our luggage the day we checked out while we went to a show. The location to Paddington Station was great and it was a short walk to Hyde Park. The breakfast was very good. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location hotel.

Acceptable hotel and staff very polite and helpful. Great location; near public transportation and walkable distance to many tourist attractions. Not many options for the breakfast included. No A/C, so in hot summers I won’t recommend it.

Older hotel, short walk from Paddington Station. Staff was friendly, place was clean. One elevator. An English Breakfast was included every morning from 7 to 9. My only complaint was the beds were hard and pillows flat. Could use bed toppers to make beds more comfortable. Other than that, it's a decent hotel. There's no air conditioning, but we were fine in early August without. A fan is in the room if needed.

Walking distance to Paddington Station. But the rooms are old, bed was lumpy, poor airflow, stuffy. Ultra basic almost dormitory level. Staff were very friendly at the front desk but other than location and friendly staff overall would not recommend staying here if you’re looking for a clean, comfy and cozy place.

Loved the location which is why we booked it. Price is also reasonable. This is comparable to hotel rooms in London, all quite small. I found it a little run down as well. But overall I think it was a fine place for the price because the proximity to Paddington makes up for a lot.

The Mitre House Hotel staff were attentive, helpful, and kind. The area surrounding it felt safe and walkable, and the breakfast each morning was a great way to begin each day while staying here.
